Hi,

DUAL WAN (Asus GT-AX11000)

I want to use only 1 router to connect 2 fibre internet.
the problem is in AX11000 setting at "LAN/IPTV/LAN PORT", only 1 internet VLAN ID can be set even in "manual setting".

ISP 1 : Unifi 800Mbps (VLAN ID = Internet 500 / iptv 600)
ISP 2 : Digi 1Gbps (VLAN ID = internet 150)

other than use another router for second ISP and connect to AX11000, any other solution?

Hi,

i want to ask Paint master here about my case..

i'm currently doing renovation and i have lots of extra Nippon 5100 Wall Sealer undercoat and Nippon WEATHERBOND (stated for exterior use).

the situation is when i not check the work progress in 4-5 days, the contractor already use those paint for my house interior.

my question is;

1) is that Nippon WEATHERBOND "ok" to use for interior? i mean in term of quality or any criteria compare to interior formulated paint. please explain me.

2) if i want to apply another paint which is specially formulated for interior, can i just apply it on top the WEATHERBOND?

my phone use maxis line and i subscribed 4GB data package.

Now i already used over 40GB. (counted by my phone)

Fyi, i never buy extra quota as in maxis easy menu.

will they charge me extra in my bill?

*i call maxis, they told me NO extra charge as long i not buying the extra quota.
they only will caps the speed. but all the 40GB i used is on full speed. download speed over 1,000 KB/sec.
wonder if they will automatilcally charge me in bill. have anyone experienced like this?

hi,

situation is like this,

1) [Y] <---1.5km---> [current modem] <---1.5km---> [Z]

2) [Y] and [Z] not same location.

3) almost no obstacle. only few electric pole. But of course the PC located in the room at each location.

4) current internet speed is 5-20Mbps. (so, lost half of speed still consider ok at a 1.5km distance)

5) please consider the weather condition. (water / heat)

6) installation cost and can last for few years.

*if wifi, i can make a pole with waterproof box for modem if want to put outside.

*if cable, i can use PVC pipe to cover and put it up to 1-feet under ground all the way to target destination.

any suggestion?

i just changed my modem to TP LINK model TD-W8970 Modem Router.

the problem is my IMAC cannot connect wifi from this modem.

already upgrade modem firmware to the latest also not solve this problem.

other devices (iphone,galaxy's,Windows7 & 8) all no problem to connect.

anyone got this problem? any solution?

i want to buy pc for my wife .

mostly i think she will using it to edit image (from DSLR - RAW/Jpeg format). so, i want to know which one is the best?

there is few choice in my mind;

1st - iMac 27" @ 3.1Ghz
this all-in-1 design. but the first Q popup is.. is it not hot? all hardware place behind the monitor.

2nd - Mac Pro 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
i heard this is on of the most powerfull pc.
but the graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB. for reference; iMac 27"@3.1Ghz use AMD Radeon HD 6970M with 1GB.
so which one graphis card the best?

or.. Custom Pc.

anyone can suggest me? and where to order the custom pc + posting to tawau, sabah.

since this will be present to my wife, MUST criteria i'm looking for the pc is;

- nice looking / setup.
- not too much heat/noise. ( maybe she will on it 24/7 for download movie or FB. )
- must in complete package.
- give me performance reference to the iMac and Mac Pro (provide me link.)

my budget is any below RM10K include shipping cost to Tawau, sabah.

i dont want to change the pc in short time so i plan to buy the mid-range for my wife.

ok, actually i already order my new rig (part-by-part) as below and expected to be arrived by next week.

mobo : Asus Rampage III Extreme
proc : intel i7 950
ram : kingston HyperX 2000Mhz C9 (2G x 3) - 2 set = Total will be 12G
SSD : OCZ 60G Vertex 2 (for OS)
HDD : WD 500G
GC : 2 x Asus GTX460 Cu TOP (SLI)
PSU : CM 1000W gold series.
Casing : CM HAF 932

Cooler : ????

and i need to overclock this rig to 4.4g and above if possible. i still dunno if air colling can handle it or i need to go for watercooling??

FYI, my current rig is i7 920 4g / asus rampage II extreme / kingston ram 6g (value ram ) / HDD sata 500g / Asus GTX285 TOP / CM 800W / and using air cooling NOCTUA U12. temp is 39 idle /79 full load.

so can anyone advice me which one is better? air or water? what the (rough) cost?.

please note, i have NO experience on water cooling. but i have read about it alot.

if possible, can anyone tell me the bios setting for (asus R3E / i7 950 / KHX2000 c9 / SSD OCZ vertex 2/ 2 SLI asus gtx460) to get 4.4g and above?
