Persuade my mother to meet my gf's family

Dear all,

Story:

We have been in relationship for almost 3 years, and knew each other about 7 years. I have decided to make her as my fiance this year, then get married next year. However I have this obstacles where my mother wants me to work at city that close to my hometown. Also she is reluctant to meet my gf's family since she is working in another city down south. My gf already has amazing career, I don't want to mess her career, I have no issue on finding new job at her place.

So my decision is firm, I want to marry her and move to the city where is working.

Any of you guys that having same issues? I need your input how to convince my mother to meet her family and let me work over there.

I'm using Ideapad S410p, and recently my right side of monitor hinge already broken. But it is still usable to use, only the hinge is broken.

So I have made up my mind to sell off this laptop. Do you guys have a tips for me how to sell this laptop? How much can I sell?
