[WTA] Motorola V3

Hi guys
My dad jst bought a motorola v3 and ive neve use a motorola before..
so i wud like to know..is it normal for motorola phone not to display caller name?
It shows when making a call out bt not when receiving a call. It only shows the number but theres no name. Not even when viewing missed calls.
If its not normal, can someone here teach me how to set it
Im not familiar with motorola and ive tried almost all the setting bt still cant.
Can someone help me pls

I know this is a really noob question..bt im really not sure abt the content inside the box if i bought a FMG set.
Can you guys let me know what is usually included in a FULL PACKAGE? Xtra battery for some or free cable for some?
To be specific the phone i want to get is Samsung E900.
