Tinnitus at young age.

Hi everyone,

I'm an unlucky person who have gotten tinnitus last week due to my own doing at the age of 20 years old. Which is exposure to loud noise. I went for a music jamming session in a small room for 1 and a half hour and after that session i have this constant high pitch sound that have been stuck with me 24/7 non stop for almost a week. Its been disturbing and I have been very depressed and there is an idea of suicidal thoughts seldom occurred due to his. I have an exam next week on 29th but its been very hard for me to study since there is a high pitch sound constantly being there.

I would like to know if there's anyone with my similar condition have been cured from this ? I have been to an ENT specialist and they said i MAY have damaged my inner ear and will be having a hearing test next week to further identify it.

Your help/encouragement would be much appreciated.

EDIT : Just an advise to anyone who are reading this. Wear EARPLUGS its important. Wear it when you go to a concert/club, wear it when you go jamming, and if possible wear it if there's any loud noises. Don't crank up your earphone volumes too high as all of this can result in a tinnitus.
