Pc unable to boot

Specs:

icore 2500k
Asus P8z77M
WD caviar green 2TB
4gb DDr3 kingston value ram
Asus 9600gt

so the story went like this, i tried to install windows on my 2TB WD caviar green, so far went good until at one point windows said 'unable to complete installation due to hardware issue'

then it won't boot from cd, i went to bios and set up boot from cd/dvd drive priority. now my mobo keeps showing a red VRAM light and won't boot. can anyone help me? im out of idea already.

regarding bottleneck

hi, these are my specs:

i5-2500k
Asus P8Z77-M
DDR3 Kingston value ram
asus 9600gt
corsair GS600W

so my question is, does the GPU i am using now currently bottlenecks my CPU?

because i tested DIRT 3 on High settings with 2XAA yet it still runs at 66 FPS using reso 1366x768

Is this considered botteneck or normal? if its bottleneck then maybe later i will change to HD 7850 one day because planning to OC around 4.5-4.7 Ghz.

p/s:will try skyrim on high after this

thanks
