I SMS-ed aaronming enquiring whether he still have the black 32gb iPhone 5. He replied he still has it and I asked about the condition and IMEI number of the phone, asking him to whatsapp/email me the pictures. aaronming said he can provide the pictures but not the IMEI number as there are frauds that can be done with the IMEI number. aaronming also say the phone is sealed and warranty is 1 year beginning from 20th May 2013. I asked how long would it take to reach Shah Alam and he told me a day and insurance can be brought for it. aaronming then sent me pictures of the phone via whatsapp, with the IMEI number censored. I agreed to buy the phone and gave him my postage details.

I asked to pay RM1000 first, and the balance upon receiving the phone. He say it's hard for him to do so, then proceed to give me a call to provide me some assurance. He explained the item would be sent back to the post station if no one is there to receive the item upon delivery and assured me with it. He too explained he would label the package "GLASSES/KACA" so that it would not be mishandled by workers. He assured me further by offering to pay for the insurance cost, and the insured amount can be claimed should item is damaged or missing.

I offered to pay RM1200 before he post the item to me. He says it's okay as long as I feel secured and will send the tracking number and receipt to me after posting it. He insisted on me doing cash deposit, eventhough I do not have Maybank account, which I agreed. He said he will cover the courier fees too.

I banked it RM1200 as agreed at 8:41 am and sent aaronming the picture of the receipt. He say he'll post it by 11am. aaronming then said he misunderstood what I said the previous day. He told his parents that I would bank in the full amount after seeing the postage receipt, saying he even quarrelled with his parents over this matter. He called me and passed the phone to his father, mentioning that he is 17 years old too. His father insisted I do it via cash deposit and not online transaction. I was a little convinced and agreed to pay the remaining RM700 only after I received the postage receipt. He then sent me the postage receipt, and I proceed to bank in the remaining RM700 at 11:24am.

I noticed that written weight was only 0.225 kg and wanted to clarify it as it seemed a little too light for a box of phone. I too noticed that the insurance is not paid. The written insured amount was RM1900, however no premium was paid. I called aaronming several times at 5pm and couldnt get thru. Received aaronming's text at 7.31pm about my missed calls saying he will call me back regarding my queries. No calls from him.

I requested for the IMEI number via SMS at 9.25pm as I already brought the phone. No reply from him and I called after 25 minutes, no response.

26th May 2013
aaronming texted me on 11.30am, saying he will whatsapp me the photo of the IMEI number. No pictures received. I called at him at 3.25pm and no response.

27th May 2013
Checked the tracking number and no such record was in the system. I went to the Pos Laju in Shah Alam at 1pm and made queries. Indeed there is no record of the tracking number. Called aaronming at 1.19pm but no response. Called again at 8pm and still no response.

Sorry for the long post guys. I have the full conversation (SMS + Whatsapp) and call history to prove the legitimacy of what is written. I hope you all would be aware regarding this user.

To aaronming : I am requesting a full refund of RM1900 and will close this thread when I receive my refund.
