Projector connection problem

Has anyone having problem connecting their macbook to ceiling projector?? I recently had such problem and it really messed up my multimedia presentations for my company's annual dinner. The hotel's projector can't detect my macbook and it says that the VGA is not registered. Sort of like that. The hotel's projector can be connected to Dell's notebook. Luckily I brought another notebook for backup. But then, I have to export my slides into Powerpoint version and that defeat the purpose. However, I do not have problem before connecting my macbook with Dell projectors. I love to use macbook because the keynote has superb transitions and animations for the slides. So what went wrong? Any expert can advise?

CrossOver Games

Have anyone tried Crossover games personally?? Heard that with crossover it's hard to search for the files, unlike with Bootcamp or VMware, which allows us to browse the installed files. Well, correct me if I'm wrong.

So to cross or not to cross??

400Mhz ram can be reduced to 233Mhz ram?

Heard from my friend that 400Mhz rams can be used in mobo which compatible for 233/200 Mhz ram. He said that it will automatically reduces itself to 233Mhz. Is that true? Will it harm the mobo or other parts of the hardwares? Since it is hard to find 233Mhz PC2100 ram nowadays, it would be great if can be replaced with 400Mhz rams. Would appreciate if the experts can comment on this.
