My wife and her sisters bought a unit there and unfortunately the developer went bankrupt. Recently all the buyers have regrouped to agree to pay additional sum to revive the project but unfortunately till now still not completed.

Wish to enquire on my slightly complicated situation below:

1. House SnP - joint name btw myself and my wife
2. House loan - under my name only
3. Tenancy agreement - btw my wife only and tenant

In this case should my wife be the one declaring the income? If yes can the interest from the house loan be deducted from the declaration?
