UKM or UM Dentistry

I know I shouldn't have posted this, but here goes, because I have this strangest feeling that you all knowledgeable forumers could provide some help to me..

Matriculation Student, Koko 99 marks, Muet band 5 (upper band, 9 marks to band 6)

Currently going to apply for upu.

Dilemma: UKM or UM dentistry?

I wanted this course so badly and for me UKM and UM are about the same. UKM would be playing safe since many place UM first choice but UKM's placing was reduced half from 2011/2012 intake to 2012/2013 intake. Only 8 chinese managed to get into UKM dentistry, compared to 23 of them in UM dentistry.

So in terms of an absolute (more or less so) choice to secure my placing in course of dentistry, please give me some suggestions... thank you very very very much.

Matriculation or Aimst?

I get a matriculation in Perlis offer. In science.

My biggest dilemma is, because I am studying in Aimst for foundation in science in hope to get into BDS course, I am afraid that going to matrics and getting an unfair treatment in the end will hurt my chances to get dentistry in public uni. Can anyone help? Enlighten me about matriculation?

I am just wondering if I get 4.0 CGPA and high koku marks, am I already guaranteed into my desired course, or it all comes to the luck factor when we're dealing with the unfair system? Thank you
