WTAsk About special pythons

Recently, I met this aussie guy at KFC during my lunchtime, and he saw me online about exotic snake pets and he came and talk to me. Seems like he's also into the same hobby. Said his name was Derek. Dunno if it is his real name but he talked bout pythons of strange and very interesting species. He said that in australia they have many of those species... He was a tourist tho.

some examples are Antaresia childreni sp., Murray Darling snakes, stimpsons pythons and some species I forgot.lol. Google for pic.

They are species of pythons that doesn't get very big and he said that they are common beginner's species there.

My question:

1. Are those species available in Malaysia?
2. Are they legal to have here?
3. If so, is there any possibility for these species to breach our market? Cause they are quite beautiful and docile species. N they are miniature pythons and easy to be kept for beginners.

Not intrestd in getting one, but I'm curious. So far, I've never met anyone who sells them in Msia.
Hope someone helps n help is always welcomed especially from those who are very experienced with imported reptiles. Thnx.

Btw, I posted this in pet store forum. lol. sryy.
