1080p or 1440p 27" 144Hz Monitor?

My 12 yrs old Samsung 226bw is getting more white patches day by day, tried some methods to rectify it but still no use.
Years back like to play strategy games so a TN panel with 60hz and R9 270 2GB could still satisfy me. Recently trying more on FPS and racing titles. Felt the 226bw struggles to keep up. So thinking of replacing it with a larger 27" 144hz panel.

But i'm not sure to get a 1080p or 1440p.

Current setup:
i5 4670 3.4Ghz
Sapphire RX580 8GB
Hyper-x 16Gb DDR3 1600mhz

Correct me if Im wrong,
If 1080p, can get better frames, higher details but less sharp with a 27" screen
If 1440p, can get sharper image, future proof but lower frames, lower details

Currently eyeing on:
1080p: Acer VG270P
1440p: Acer VG271UP

Also I'm unsure of the smoothness/performance if let's say the gc is only pushing out 60fps to a 1440p 144hz monitor.

Hope sifu here could shed some light and suggestion on models.

Tea Ceremony + Wedding Dinner in the Evening

Have any of u guys done it before? I was thinking doing all at 1 shot to make everything easier. Planning for a simple wedding.

We are not exactly fond of going through morning sessions playing silly games and all that, thats why came out with this idea.

Of cuz, gonna select a suitable venue to hold the tea ceremony. May be like around 4pm start the tea ceremony after that straight dinner.

Still at early stage of planning, might miss out on some details and concerns. So see anyone have any experience?

Credit card machines

My dad found some credit card machines in his office store room, he have no idea whether he has bought or lease them long ago. Was thinking of recycling it but the machines were quite new, seems wasted if trash them.

So i was wondering whether these machines can be sold to those business owners who need it? Is it legal? I have no knowledge of these things. Need some advice...thx

Accident at Westlake Kampar, Perak

First of all, both drivers are fine and save. Thank god. An ambulance was on site as well.

An accident happened this morning at Westlake Kampar just beside the park between a white Honda Civic FD and a purple Myvi SE.

A male student was the driver for the Civic and the Myvi by a female student. Both of them are from UTAR.

This hostel area is occupied by UTAR/KTAR students/staffs.

The Westlake security guard said the Civic was driving fast on straight and the Myvi is trying to execute a turn into the allay. Driver of the Civic couldn't brake in time to avoid the Myvi.

Accidents happens quite frequently here in Westlake due to high density of students around here, with the numbers of students increasing, the numbers of vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles goes up gradually. Worst of all is the attitude of the drivers. Some were seen speeding in this area.

I urge everyone to be responsible and slow down when driving in a highly populated area. Accident could happen in a blink of an eye.

Please drive safe everyone.
