Ppl who block empty parking spots

Ranting post..

Just now confronted a lady who blocked 3 parking spots waiting at the side of the road of the shop lots.. to be fair to her, opposite of the road still have few parking spaces, but have to cross over the road to go to the shop..

It's raining and I'm with my kids so I asked her to move away but she refused and ask me to park opposite space.. say she waiting awhile only for her father who is OKU.. but after more than 5 mins still not out, so I honk till she moves.. after I park, the father comes out few more mins later from shopping, perfectly fine not disabled at all..

Why she rather curse the father OKU than just park her car properly I really don't understand.. can /k please explain?

Accident recorded dashcam

Dear /k,

My wife was driving yesterday and recorded an accident in dashcam... It sort of hit and run, but not lorry's fault...
However, my noob and old dashcam cannot capture the plate number of both moto and lorry...

So my question is, do i submit the video to police or anyone? Will the lorry driver get into trouble since he did not stop although not his fault?

Location "Lingkaran Putra Prima" at around 04:50pm 20/04/2021... dashcam datetime wrong since MCO dont drive much...

Should i commit to new mortgage?

Dear /k experts,

Should i commit to new housing loan with below income and expenses?
Currently with 2 kids. Already have a 1k sf condo but feel like quite small when the kids grow up... found a place which has 2.5k sf build up which is tempting for us...

household net income: RM 12,400 (excluding bonus)
expenses: RM 9,934
savings: RM 1,500
rest for shopping/leisure/holiday

Another reason is, when got extra money, wife want to spend or go holiday... so buying house will instead work as forced savings... and to find ways to reduce expenses... cause both working so more convenient to eat out, so with extra commitment will be forced to do so...

However, new house loan will be RM3,100... so savings is cut down as well...
Car loan will finish by end of this year, and if get another house, current house can rent out around around RM1,300...

please advise, or bash

As per title...

planning to get a bigger car for family... eyeing on the 10th gen accord... thinking to get new, or wait bout 4 years for second hand...

Pros of new car
1. Properly maintained as you are the person who take care of the car from start. Rattling noise is my biggest concern.
2. Less hassle and no need to worry about maintenance since still under warranty
3. For this case, better tech than the outgoing version
4. Lower interest rate than used car, but overall interest higher
5. No risk of dealing with dodgy 2nd hand car dealers (Added)
6. New car smell (Added)

Pros of used car
1. Price of new car depreciate like mad for the first 3 years. Accord is about 50k+ for the first 3 years. First owner absorb the depreciation.

cant think of other pros of used car... please help enlighten

Digi Broadband - unfair treatment

I've signed up for Digi Broadband DG185 last year Oct... now only got 60GB quota eventhough monthly cost RM185...

now got Digi postpaid unlimited RM150 without internet quota... ask Digi customer service can increase quota to unlimited say cannot... cause its postpaid plan while mine is broadband plan... so i say postpaid plan internet is better than broadband plan then broadband plan for what... no answer

nevermind then, since Digi broadband current highest plan is 100GB for RM100 only... so my request is at least give me 100GB quota since im paying RM185... and wahla, say cannot change plan since mine in contract

so Digi offer new packages to lure signup, but treat existing customer like crap...

I went to KWSP puchong branch yesterday to update my address using the machine...

today their customer service called me to inform my IC was left there... called 3x even, as first 2x i was driving and didnt pick up... didnt even realized until they called me today... was pleasantly surprised...

also, just only found out they do not stop their service during lunch hours... totally shattered my perception that they take break longer than working...

Useless condo management/project team

Condo just VPed around 2 months... most unit under defect fixing... One unit front entrance caught fire... Most probably due to cigarette butts by contractors... the unit has not started own renovation, so its only developer appointed contractors...

when complain about this, building management said they are not responsible to what happened inside owner units... say they have a lot of contractors under them, so its out of their control and they will not help to monitor on this

Any avenue can owners go to for this kind of useless management? JMB can be formed and kick them out only after 2 years right?

I collected key on 6-Feb, until now there are no TNB meter installed... ask management they say TNB install batch by batch... i only gotten TNB demand letter on the 21-Feb... Means developer submitted TNB application late?

Does this considered as premature VP? Since SNP stated "water and electricity supply are ready for connection to the said parcel"... ready for connection means they can push the responsibility to TNB?

Also, many common facility are not ready to be used yet... but they doesnt want to waive Feb maintenance fees... anything as owners can do? many other owners complain the same... think they just VP to avoid paying LAD...

any sifus here can advise?

This little dog named Cesur recently lost the one person in his life who mattered most to him. But even in the wake of his best friend's death, Cesur's love and loyalty for him still has yet to fade.

Last week, after years of illness which had left him paralyzed, 79-year-old Mehmet Ilhan died at a hospital near his home in Bursa, Turkey. For the last two years of his life, Cesur had been Mehmet's faithful companion, so his passing was especially heartbreaking.
"Because of my father's paralysis, they had a different kind of connection," Mehmet's son Ali told The Dodo. "When my father was in the hospital during his last days, Cesur stopped eating."
Still, no one could have expected what happened next.

After Mehmet's body arrived home, Cesur remained close by, refusing to budge. When a procession formed to carry the coffin to a local mosque for the funeral, the dog insisted on leading the way.
During the ceremony, Cesur sat by the coffin, his head hanging sadly. This is how he remained the entire time.
"Nobody could touch him until my father was taken to the grave and was buried," said Ali.

Cesur watched as Mehmet was laid to rest. Sadly though, it seems to have brought him little closure.

The little dog now lives at home with Ali, but his heart still pines for Mehmet.
For the last five days since the funeral, Cesur has traveled through town to the burial site to sit by his old friend's side.

Ali had been noticing Cesur would dart off through the door when he left for work, but it wasn't until he decided to follow him one day that he realized what was happening.

"The people who work in the cemetery say the first thing he does in the morning is visit the grave of my father," said Ali.
On this day, they paid their respects to Mehmet together.

It's unclear how long Cesur's daily pilgrimages will continue, or if he'll ever fully heal from the loss. In any case, however, Ali promises that the little dog won't have to face the future on his own.

customer reps simply promise and give false information
order of events as below... lies bolded for easy reading or tldr

07:01pm - order made online with successful payment. got confirmation of order processing
08:10pm - order havent come. called customer service. customer rep say will call store to track my order and call me back to inform
08:30pm - customer rep didnt call back. called customer service again. told prev rep never call back. new customer rep say will track my order and call back "immediately"
08:50pm - customer rep didnt call back. called customer service. said my order was out of oven at 07:19pm, he need to talk to store again and call back
09.10pm - finally called back. new customer rep said there is blackout at the store near me. my order will be prepared from another branch and estimate delivery time 30 minutes. say will refund and still give me my pizza for free. thought got free food so happy didnt marah
10.00pm - pizza no where to be found. finally give up and go mamak

call back to ask about the refund, refund only the transaction amount... so my FPX RM1.06 gone... and refund process takes 1-2 months time...
so in conclusion, 3 hours of hunger and RM1.06 wasted, and need wait 1-2 months to get back my money, just for nothing....

if you were me, will you ban dominos?
