Having dead spots in my house and wants to extend the coverage using mesh wifi. Looking for a mesh wifi that can cover up to 5000sqft / 3 floors. I considered the Netgear Orbi but many seem to mention that the software update always causes problems.

Would appreciate if anyone with experience using mesh wifi along with Unifi can provide some recommendation. Thanks in advance!

Problem details
First occurence of problem: On first attempt to join powerline
Problem frequency: -
Problem description:
Last night, bought 2 start kits of homeplug from TP-Link. One TL-WPA4220KIT and also a TP-PA4010KIT. Managed to set up the TL-WPA4220KIT (Master homeplug and wifi homeplug). However, my TP-PA4010 homeplug is only able to join into the powerline from certain power sockets only and so happens these power sockets are far away from my desktops.

The same thing happened when I was trying to pair my master homeplug with the Wifi homeplug. Fortunately, one of the power sockets was at a nice area to place the Wifi homeplug so that's settled.

Any sifu's here has similar experience from me? Where the homeplugs can't join the powerline on certain sockets? (Note: I'm not using any extension cords for the homeplugs). Both power light and ethernet light are working fine, but powerline light does no light up at all.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
