How to setup VPN

Recently i use a VPN service for downloading .. and it enhance the download speed .. so now i would like to check how to setup 1 vpn server ..

anybody know how to set this up .. and where should i setup the server

Backup fat partition

i have a lenovo laptop .. so they didnt supply me the windows xp cd .. and its all inside the hard drive .. the problem is the source files is in the fat partition .. try to copy it but cannot .. any suggestion to help me copy this files before i upgrade to vista .. thank you

Hard drive failure

anyone knows how to repair a failure hard drive .. not too sure what happen .. earlier still running ok .. after removing it and putting back on the cpu and it stop functioning .. even i tried load the drive as a removable drive using external casing on my laptop .. and in the end still the same .. cannot detect ..

some one pls comment .. thank u

i just bought a pc few days ago .. so one of my friend has a microsoft office 2003 oem which he bought together with his laptop .. and its printed dell at the label ..

so can i use the office 2003 on my new pc ? some of my friend say can and some say cannot .. i m abit confuse here .. pls comment
