Hi.

Applied for a engineering position I don't know when, first interview almost 2 year already then they senyap. Last 2 months they called for interview again. Last week got the offer +46% then current. But reading on the financial status of Sapura, that PN17 things, do you guys think if I jump ship I will be jumping into blackhole? I not really understand what that PN17 things but quick Google search it's not a good thing. Any advice? Current company is stable MNC. My only reason to jump is because current salary increment about 3-5% p.a only. If stay they don't know when I will get same salary as offered by Sapura

Sent Fridge for Repair, Technician Ignoring Me

Hi,

Early Dec 20, I call technician to come & check my fridge. Got the number from the shop that I buy the fridge, but since warranty expired, shop didn't cover it. 2 guy come & check at my house. But since can't be fixed on the spot (don't know true or not), they said they will bring back the fridge to shop & repair. They take RM100 as deposit & the fridge. Long story short, until today I didn't get the fridge back. The guy also didn't respond well to my messages. Only after multiple text, then only got 1 reply saying still checking. Since they take the fridge only got 4 reply say same thing they still checking. Call didn't answer. Last time only say need 1-2 to repair. Now already 1 month plus.

Silly me didn't check properly the receipt they gave me. No address on the receipt. Only company logo, name & phone number. Don't know the company name valid or not

Shop that gave the contact also say need to deal direct with the technician. They didn't bother which understandable since I'm the one who ask for recommendation.

Did I got scammed? What can I do? Do police report or what? Anyone got experience this kind of situation?

Anyone know any cheapest postpaid plan to keep the number alive. Currently I have one number that I can't afford to lose. I don't need internet plan. Pay per used for call/SMS also fine. No need free limited call/SMS. Currently that number under my Celcom First Gold. Have to pay RM30++ per month basically for very lite use. Thanks you for the help.

[WTA] Old rig dead after install new GPU

Hi.

Bought 1050Ti to replace my 750. Installing everything just fine. Able to play games for about 1 hour plus, before the game hang. I force restart it, after that display show "No display". CPU fan, case fan, GPU fan, all spinning but display still show no display. Thing that I already try

1. Remove GPU
2. Remove RAM
3. Remove GPU + RAM
4. Test monitor. Not monitor issue

All 4 things I have tried still give same result. When removing GPU, I connect monitor to main board. Result still "No Display"

Roughly about my rig
I3-2100
ECS H61 Board
12GB RAM
1050Ti

Any idea?

Yesterday, suddenly I have no internet connection. Windows state "local area connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration".
I've tried my method from internet.

1. Reinstall driver
2. Flush DNS
3. netsh method
4. I even fresh format my laptop

I was thinking that my laptop ethernet card spoil edy. So I looking to buy USB ethernet adapter. Any suggestion or maybe my card not spoil yet, I just tinking this way because I've try many menthod buy dont work.

Note : WIFI is working

Today my laptop doesnt work anymore. Its start with screen flickering for a few weeks. But today screen goes black, laptop cant find HDD to boot windows (HDD was fine, already test it to another laptop). Is it worth for me to repair it? How much it will cost?
