Landlord issues

Hi all..need your advise on this. To keep it short, I will list down in chronological order:

1. Rent at PJS 7, Bandar Sunway. Signed one year contract.
2. Stay for one year and then landlord say will increase rent (without prior notice)
3. Want to move out cuz cannot tahan the higher rent (plus need to pay three months at one go)
4. Wanted to move out during the final quarter but landlord said must either find someone to replace or pay the remaining rent as there are so intakes and no one will take the room (not my business right)
5. No contract was signed for the second year and went to legal aid for advice on the first year contract. The contract is just some rules and then signed by tenant. Legal aid people told me it was an invalid contract and just some bullshit rules made by the landlord.
6. Approached landlord and she said the contact is auto-renew and don't care about what legal aid said.
7. Landlord took her time to calculate the deposit and from 2,600 she decide to return only about $1,500.
8. Apparently I needed to bear the cost of $720 (remaining rental for some girl who moved from her other house to my room)

That was in December 2014 and until now, no money returned.
How to take actions for this? I was told to make police report but no use la as if police will arrest her right

Somehow my around one week old laptop produces weird buzzing noise whenever I play music. Weird..coming from a laptop with good speakers.

The buzzing increased greatly when i switched my power4gear hybrid to office mode.

Anyone else experienced this?

Which Toshiba laptop? Help?!

I've never bought any laptop before so I need help from you pros!!!

I am using this laptop for at least 3-4 years already and it's too slow!

Any recommendations?

My budget is slightly over 3k, 14" - 15.6"

Mostly use for writing, photoshop, light gaming and movies

...also can someone explain to me what is nVIDIA 525M..something like that..how to know if it's good.
