iPhone 3G running on 4.2.1

hi everyone.

i have a friend and he using iPhone 3G. this phone can consider a classic phone of Apple iPhone. his phone is currently running on 4.2.1 and it's JAILBROKEN. the phone is quite laggy, scrolling to next menu is like a matrix slow motion. even press home button need to wait 3 seconds then ONLY it's responding.
because it's laggy, even pressing home button may to awhile to lock and sometimes automatically turn on iPod itself.

is there anything to make the phone running up smooth again?

anyone know any budget hotel nearby to Pacific Megamall. because our budget is kinda tight so we need a cheap hotel for our place to stay.
it's for our upcoming competition in Penang.

is it far from Sg Nibong Terminal to Pacific Mall? is there any bus to go there?

For those who play arcade games sure must be knowing a game called "Wangan Maximum Tune". It's quiet famous game for arcade games and one of games that making a profit for arcade centre. Forget to intro myself i'm Wayne and i'm from Team -SiX- and this team are from Putrajaya.

A True Story About My Friend

hi everyone.

i have friend, guy.. same age as me. we have been known each other since standard 1. let's cut to the story :

he, has a relationship with this girl for almost 2 years. i consider he is lucky guy because his girl are caring, loveable and open minded(base on what i saw with my naked eyes). they look sweet together.. in their 2 years on relationship, they have been in fighting which involved alot of things(small or big). this guy really "GATAL" one. his girlfriend tell me she saw that guy chatting with another girl on facebook. not once, but alot of times.. she trying to be patience with him and the guy keep giving excuses that they are just friend.

somehow this guy, always borrow people money.. so guess what the guy do? can't get friends to borrow money who else he wanna ask to? GIRLFRIEND LO! that girl spend alot of money just for him. she even use her exams money to help that guy too. poor her, seriously.. i've been like an ear for her everytime they argue or something. so me and another friend, come and talk to him nicely. tell him to appreciate that girl, suprisingly he follow what we said. he been close to since the day we came and talk to him.

because this guy is quiet troublesome for his family as well, his parents decide to bring him to London and stays with his uncle over there. that guy go back home town and wait for the day he go to London. somehow, his girlfriend crying all day thinking what she gonna do without him until make a stupid decision to bring that guy runaway from hometown and family. THE GUY say YES and he thought by doing this he can maintain the relationship with the girl. after runaway and came back to KL, he straight give me a suprise call and say he need a help. He need a place to stay and he promise me that he gonna get a new places after he get a work.

1 months after get a job, something goes wrong. he said his girlfriend regret for what she has done. the girl start to behave very weird and never pickup any of his call or my call. 1 day, he received a message the girl "Sorry we can't be together anymore, sorry for troubling you alot". From that day, we can't make a call or even find her in college. I ask the guy go back to your family but he refused and he said he dont know where to put his face and until now keep refusing.

it's been 8 months already and he still here in my house and yet keep refused to go back. i scared his family found out and then i been accused later for kidnapping their son. i don't want to ask him get out from my house because we have been a bestfriend for alot of years. my parents is not in Malaysia a years. what should i do? what i can do?

note : sorry for my bad english. if some part you guys dint understand can ask me. it's a long long story

My iPhone problems

Hey LYN member and especially to iPhone 4 users, i have an iPhone 4 IOS 5.0.1 using gevey sim which i brought from LYN member.
it's a locked set and the back the box show AT&T logo (based on the back of the box).
baseband is 4.12.01.

here's the problem:
this phone is 1.2 years old. i only use it for one month(since the day i brought the phone). early of this month, my friends accidentally update the phone from 5.0.1 to 5.1.
i've try send to a shop and try get it fix, hopefully my phone can be unlocked (using factory unlocked since it's AT&T set).
but disappointment came because the phone is not AT&T set. basically the phone is nothing except like an iPod but iPhone version.

what should i do? how can i save this phone? is there anyone know how to solved this problem? how long do i have to wait for the gevey sim can be use for baseband 4.12.01? i damn blur right now.
