Working in overseas?

Hi fellow sifu's,

I've recently got an offer for a job in Dongguan from a MY company which I'm still considering. Can anyone share with me anything in particular to watch out for for Malaysians to work in overseas? I'm concerned on tax, EPF and thinking there could be areas that I might need to consider but not aware of. I'm not particularly concerned about having to earn super high expat salary as my main goal is to achieve experience working abroad before getting old, and China being a fast growing economy really attracted my attention.

Anyone can also share with me the process/ procedures one needs to go through before going abroad? Besides obtaining work visa from the company, is there anything else? I remember one of my friend got relocated to Vietnam 4 years ago and I had to accompany him to Putrajaya to settle a few things from few govt department - I totally forgot what are the departments are things he did as I didn't pay attention, and most importantly have lost contact with him. I really hope to hear some sharing from you guys!

SO i was having my lunch at Old Town Alam Damai and this is what i notice. Problem with hiring a bunch of Nepalese or Myanmar or whatever they are is cheap but the consequence would be s*it customer service. Many of us tried to order something or get the bills but the staff just act stupid and spent their time doing no s*it and keep chatting there.

everyone's trying too hard to please tat myanmar amoi and sweet talk to her. guy on the right is having a hard time, haha.

The franchise owner probably won't give a damn cos she's probably having 10 other more important businesses.

I also don't understand why most bangla, myanmar or Nepalese are soft, slow and lembik? I really don't want to discriminate them but.

Hello everyone, i have quite a few books that I wish to give away (finished reading and thought would be a waste if I just throw them away)...I've already passed a few books to my friends, donation etc but these are some that I've got at the moment, which I wish someone would pick up and pass around...

Most of these books are very new and in very good conditions. Most of the books that I buy have got very good reviews from Amazon or reputable review sources, while some of them are the bestsellers at bookstores.

If you see anything that you'd like, just let me knw and they're yours, no worries, first come first serve. You may pick them up at my place Cheras or at my office area PJTC.

I have a few more but I'll give them away once i finished reading..so i'll keep updating this post.
