PC Hangs after few mins

Hi guys & gals. Am having a problem since last night. PC just started hanging after a few mins from reboot. I personally have not installed anything for a few months. Brother told me he just updated the Windows Live Messenger. However, he updated it in the morning, and PC was working fine the whole day until night time when I did my routine daily reboot.

My PC main hardware:
Intel C2D E8400
Asus P5KPL-AM
Kingston PC-6400 DDR2-800 *2
Seagate 1TB HDD
Silverstone ST56F

I have not personally checked on the fans, but I am sure I heard them when it is rebooted. Will check once I get back from work today.
I have not tried windows safe mode but I do run a scheduled anti-virus using comodo and anti-spyware everyday.
I have recently been getting script errors from my browsers namely firefox and flock and also getting weird "ran out of memory" messages from IE.
Even when not connected to the net, PC still hangs after a few minutes. The weird part is, if I managed to open WC3, I am able to play it until game over/I decide to end it. Then it will hang at the exit screen >.<" (but while doing this, I also am playing songs..and the songs will stop after a few minutes, which means everything else is already in the hang state) >.<"
After a few tries last night, I decided to let the PC rest and tried running it this morning..but same problem still persist.

* I usually leave my PC on 24/7 and PC is less than a year old.

Any advices? Thanks in advance

PC Spec Recommendation; Budget RM3k

Hello all,

Am currently considering to get a new pc and below are the parts that I am thinking of getting. Do give me your opinions on these parts and also a recommendation on a 19" LCD screen. Should be going for a normal ATX casing as well. Won't need a DVD-Rom as would be using from old PC.

Parts currently being considered:

Intel C2D E8400
Asus P5KPL-AM
Kingston PC-6400 DDR2-800 *2
Seagate 1TB HDD
Silverstone ST56F
Asus HD4850 512MB

All suggestions and opinions are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Blind Shopping?

I've just realised that all my headphone purchases including amp are bought blindly. What I mean by blindly is that I did not have the chance to test the product before making the purchase and bought them based on reviews and forums.

Most people will tell you to trust your ears before making an audio purchase, but we in Malaysia are not so fortunate to have test units for us to try out before making a purchase.

So my question is, how many of us are fortunate enough to actually test out the product before making a purchase?

Balanced Headphones Review

The 1st time I read about a balanced headphone was from HeadRoom. In HeadRoom, there's only short explanation on what a balance headphone can do compared to a single ended headphone. Well thanks to yongchris from HeadphoneHaven, I've come across a much detailed review comparing Balanced headphone and SE headphone. Enjoy : 6moons audio review : Balanced Headphone
