Hi all,

Im about to buy a macbook air online so i can get the education price. My budget is 4k. Hence if i upgrade to 8gb ram the price different will be around rm310, rm3860 which is still below my budget. Im taking education course, not a gamer, so i'll be using the mac for downloading, watching movies and serious browsing only.

This is going to be my first very own laptop. So i want it to be long term worth while. My dilemma is should i upgrade it to 8gb ram or just go with the basic. I do not really understand what is the differences. Hope all mac gurus can help me with this. Thank you!
