can someone please decipher what those BSOD coding means ? i m using the laptop dell1560 at the moment , and sometime this BSOD (as attached) will come out in a sudden, is it hardware problem or software problem ?

trouble with Netbios and WSD Discovery

Hi guys, currently I am having trouble to access my mate's pc thru a wireless LAN, both of us using vista, but the problem is, whenever i went to my machine on the network window, i can see that the other computer discovery method is bios, and i was rejected whenever i try to access to another pc ... and my pc discovery method showed WSD? is there any way to solved this ??? thanks [attachmentid=997894][attachmentid=997895]

the modem router i using is dlink , and the notebook i using is R500... i ran a test from the wireless adapter software... the result shown as below ... please be aware the last 4 rows failed the test, is it possible the signal cannot synchrorise with australia wireless router ? pls let me know thanks, i post a screenshot with this thread feel free to explain

problem to get optimum resolution

I have a widescreen 19 inch, and when i connect it to notebook... i m looking for best res in that external monitor ... 1440x900 , but when i choose setting, it doesnt show up, its like come out randomly with that option, but most of the time it never appear on the setting, the highest i can get is the resolution based on my notebook monitor which is 1280 x800 , any one know how to fix this ? to let best res out of my monitor appear on those display setting ? thanks

p/s: i heard some ppl u can manually change the resolution of monitor without going to setting ... pls let me know how ... thanks maybe tats the way to solve the problem

do u know how ? just like minimize them to little icon at right bottom corner there ... cos my office using outlook 2002 , i knowwe can do it when u use 2003 or 2007 version office outlook, but i cant see any option to do this when i went into those configuration in 2002... anyone know that pls let me know thanks !

trojan problem

hi , currently i having a big one, whenever i opened up windows explorer, my avast antivirus always pop out a message said that some trojan files were thretening my computers, and during computer startup, a few error messages also state that i got some opening files missing ...

how to stop this nuisance ? i tried spybot s and d before , and found out those malware, yet it still come back after a while.

hi people, i need some help on ie and window explorer in vista, recently when i opened up those programme, or when i try key in url, it always prompt up and said got error, and window explorer wll restart again ( same to ie), i wonder why this happened in vista. I knew that this happened in xp long time ago like in ie6, but now i am facing same problem again in vista, is there any patch to apply to stop this happening ?

hi, I having trouble connect my pc to ipod ... the thing ussually happened is .. when i connect ipod to pc ... the itune will pop up by itself and show that my pc was connecting to ipod , but now, whenever i did the samething.. i dont see anything show up from my pc, and my ipod just stating its charging, whats the matter ? how come i cant get access to my ipod from my pc anymore ?

what do you think ? i have core duo and p4 processors, both of them working quite well, although p4 is a little bit noisy, should i get rid of my p4 and get new core 2 duo processor ? or any other alternative , like installing new fan for my p4 ?
