Expat life overseas, Australia vs Singapore

Hi, I was recently offered to proceed with my 189 visa in Australia. For my family the registration fees will come up to almost RM20k for the lifelong visa + 5 year re-entry permit.

I also currently hold a Singapore PR which will expire soon in 2020. At the moment I'm working in China on an expat package.

I'm just wondering if there is a big difference in the quality of life between Singapore and Australia? From what I read online, the grass is always greener on the other side, with Singaporeans migrating to Australia for better work life balance and Australians coming to Singapore for various reasons.

Hoping if anyone has experience working and staying in Australia & Singapore to offer some insights on the pros and cons.

Electrical from China apply CoA from Suruhanjaya

I have some electrical items I plan to import from China for retail sales. As I check, need SIRIM to sight the CB Scheme report so they can issue type approval (CoA) sticker for it as part of Suruhanjaya Tenaga safety regulations.

Browsing through the regulations seem to imply particular importance on the wiring and connector head which must comply to British standards.

My question is, has anyone done an application for the CoA for such a case before that can share the experiences? On my part I have to discuss with the supplier if they can swap out the socket heads to SIRIM compliant ones and produce the necessary documentation, or worse come to worse I import them in and get someone to swap the cabling (is this even possible?).

Thoughts and comments are appreciated.
