I&#39;ve never experienced this before and am wondering is that legal and why would they ask for a bank statement. Asking for previous payslips is normal to verify past pay scale but bank statement? Isn&#39;t that an invasion of privacy? The company is a govt-affiliated agency no less. <br /><br />Hope someone can shed some light into this.
