Hey guys, do you all know how can i get those gesture sensor like the one on samsung phone? I cant seems to find a supplier for that device.

Planning to start a project using that kind of sensor to detect gestures like the "air gesture". Just simple hand movement.

The one at Mid Valley in between of The Garden and Mid Valley doesnt offer testing or Try-out. My Question is,

1. Is there any other laptops out there which have more bang-for-bucks <RM 3,000.00 like the one I listed above?

2. If not compare to those 3 laptops above which is better? What about the durability of it? Any issue on the warranty and all?
Because I have 2 friends using Acer laptop and both told me that it sucks in terms of durability. Laptop will shut down by itself, webcam rosak, keyboard cant press and so on. Heard them complaint like that makes me worry.

3. Of those 3 laptops above is there any other games that I have problem playing?

Dear all SIFUs

Please help me out on this matter as I am a noob in terms of hardware. Recently my motherboard fried and currently using AMD Atlon(I think is 3100 2.1Ghz) forgot what spec already. Already 5 years old PC and thinking of upgrading.

I was thinking to change my processor and motherboard under <RM800 budget.

Currently usable hardware is:
PSU : Gigabyte 450W True Power
RAM : 2 X 512 Corsair Value Ram (800Mhz I think)
HDD : 500GB WD , 160GB Seagate both 7,200 rpm
Graphic Card : Nvidia 7300GT (I think is only 256mb?)

Well, I WANT to have a pc that is lag free when playing games (internet issue aside because we basically cant do shit about it thx to TM. lolz) . Mainly online games like DotA (not very high spec requirement game), Silkroad, WOW, etc. Mainly for gaming (dont mind if up-coming game played at the lowest setting), movies, photo editing like photoshop and all.

let's picture this scenario;

When you encounter with authorities be it PDRM Officers, DBKL Officers, JPJ Officers or any officer with or without uniform and you take out your state-of-the-art recording device or even a good nice handphone/PDA/Blackberry/iPhone to start recording the whole scene. Can they stop you from recording?

Eg: You are stopped by the police or JPJ officer ask you to stop at the road side or even for questioning and so on, can they stop you from recording?

My opinion is NO. Because that device iPhone/Handphone/Blackberry/PDA belongs to me and I have all the rights to do whatever I want with it.

My friend said they can stop you. Reason is THEY ARE THE AUTHORITY officer. So?

You know that from "D" gear you want to shift to "R" or "P" you need to press the knob on the top in order to shift it upward right?

The knob seems to be unable to push all the way down. The complete cycle to shift the gear. Anyone encounter such problem?

I just met with an accident. Since it was raining just now, I jammed the brake but unfortunately my car cant stop in time and rammed into a taxi's butt. It seems the taxi jammed brake because he want to avoid a motorcyclist.

The taxi got no problem but unlucky for my proton saga. The front bonnet bengkok already and I suppose I need to change the whole front bumper also. The lights all no problem. It seems like the radiator also no problem.

I know is my fault if I bang a car's butt. Since the taxi driver also say no problem. We part separate ways.

So now my question is:
(1) Normally in this case what should I do 1st?

(2) I called a workshop where I found the contact number from the Jln Klang Lama Proton Service Center card. Is actually located in Serdang. Does anyone know where is it? And any comments about this workshop?

(3) Last but not least, how much would it cost me to get it fix?

Hey there,

I just wanna know is there any gym charge less than RM 150 or RM 100 per month? I most likely will go there 2-3 times a week probably not more than that.

As I know most of those gym have somekind of commitment around 12months or so right? Meaning to say you cant quit within that period or else will be penalize.

And yea I'm not a fan of Jacky Chan and I personally think that California Fitness is crowded & OVERRATED. I myself has been to Fitness First which is not too bad. But abittttt more expensive than others.

[HELP] Problem with O2 Xda IIs

Hey Guys I hope this is the correct category to post it.

Here is the situation. My O2 XDA IIs touch screen is not functioning. I dont know what happen but it just happen. So now my phone is lock and I cant unlock it using my joystick. I know is a very very old PDA. And O2 has already withdraw from Malaysia market. But I wanna know where I can fix it. Is below RM 200 then is ok. Is anything more than that I think I might as well get a new phone.

But lets say I cant fix the PDA, I need to get back all the data and all my contacts. U think they might be able to do it? Now my PDA keep popping out alert saying that my "Backup battery is low". But is fully charged. Really damn heart sick, it was my first self purchase phone/PDA.
