Remove icons from bottom panel

Hi guys.

I just started using Linux Mint but I'm having a slight problem. On the bottom right of my screen there are 3 workspaces. Next to the three workspaces, there are two icons. I've accidentally dragged some icons out of my applications menu and dropped it on the bar on top. I've been trying to remove them for some time but I've not been able to do so.

I'm using GNOME Classic. Yes, I could remove them in the others, but somehow under GNOME Classic, I can't remove them. What can I do to remove them?

Here's a screen shot of my desktop.

Regards
