Dell 6400 - cant boot at all

Dear All Sifu,

My DELL 6400 (around 2 years old - with my warranty expired already) had decided to die on me while I am working on my work stuffs.

When I try to boot up, it gives no Beep sound nor any effort to go to the blue screen or BIOS screen. I've tried to open the CD ROM but it won't open completely. I am a computer noob, just switch on and off the notebook to use it for office stuffs.

What solution do I have now? I am hesitant to sent it back to Dell as I prefer to DIY the notebook coz easily it's going to cost me RM600 to fix it, so might as well save the money to buy another notebook right?

Please assist...
