JAZZ & BLUES

Looking For a Pianist and a Brass,

who is either new or experienced with stage performances, open mic sessions, and classy gigs.

I would prefer those who're a little more inclined with smooth Jazz, Blues, and Classic music. However, a little experience with other genres here and there would be a plus!

Location can be of anywhere as long as it's within the Klang Valley, preferably around Petaling Jaya, Kota Damansara, Damansara Utama, KL.

It would be much appreciated if you had your own transportation sorted out. But most importantly, your instruments.

Additional Information:
I'm a vocalist, always had that burning passion in singing ever since i was a child. I haven't been doing anything about it ever since the past 2 years, so for starters, i'm just giving it a shot on Lowyat Forums. I have had connections that were willing to put me up on NBT and Alexis but i guess you could say that i was not ready.

The main idea of this post is in hopes that i'd find a pianist and a brass player that's dedicated enough and driven by music. People who'd wanna tag along with my journey. Furthermore someone who can be patient with me when it comes to basic musical knowledge. I can only speak English, a tad bit of mandarin, but preferably English.

I would want us to do gigs, open mics, recordings, and etc.

Hey guys! i'm thinking of starting to learnt he trumpet soon but parents told me to find a suitable and professional teacher who can guide me through the steps o.o Are there any trumpet teachers around? I'm in Shah Alam, Kuala Lumpur. Drop me a PM if you know or you are! And is there a way to know that you can tell whether you'd suit the brass instruments? cause my parents were against me taking up trumpet as they claimed it was hard and only people with talent can play... so that means it can't be learnt? wtf? lol cheers!

Hi there, we as a group are looking for players like you who have the experience and think that you wanna be something in the near future... though in doing so you'd already need to have enough skill and talent in what it is you do (music) and are already able to master stage performance.
But that's not important... relax... what we're actually looking for are players who can muster the trombone, saxophone, trumphet, anything to fill with brass and music.

our path is set in which we would be posting frequent YouTube videos to reach for either public critics and fame. If you're wondering what it is I'm talking about at this point and are probably having a great laugh as it seems impossible then you are not the person we're looking for.

In this line, there are sacrifices and responsibilities that we as musicians have to upkeep. Do not tempt yourself to drop your ambitions just so you could please the other stereotypes who look down on you and think you wouldn't succeed and that it is a doomed future that you're heading for.

If they're not there during your struggle, don't expect them during your success.
