Sofa is very well taken care off and looks brand new. Rarely seat on it. New one will cost more than 5K for this type of design and quality. Very comfortable when sitting or watching television. Lots of padding on each side of the sofa and no rough edges.

Hi All,

Just came back from Nigeria last 2 week. I went to Lagos which is the area where major O&G company setup their offices there and to Port Harcourt approx 600km from Lagos. FYI Port Harcourt is still consider an Amber Zone after militants kidnap alot of O&G employee 4 years ago.

I just wanted to share some experiece of my visit there. Even though it was only a 3 weeks trip, it was totally uncomfortable for me especially on the road and clearance at the airport. I tell you them buggers asking for money like all the way until i get into the aeroplane. Really FUKUP.

Safety team always advice expats to be very careful and encourage us not to walk outside especially at night as 96% kidnap case happens at night.

Anyway to cut long story short, some pics from my trip in Nigeria. Picture paints a thousand word.

Getting into the office. The only place which was very high tech!

Normally will have approx 3 layers of safety. This is at a yard.

The road condition. Near this area we were almost rammed by an oil tanker. They say this area is a red zone where most of the militants hang around and hide their firearms in the bushes.

Front entrance

Domestic Airport. The smell in there i tell you. Other main problem there is the BO. 99 of 100 locals have this!

Domestic aeroplane. You have to check your own luggage near the aeroplane and confirm it is yours!! Then you need to carry and put it on the forklift.Lucky i only bring hand carry

Entrance to one of the office. Just like a freaking prison.

Eventhough sometimes we complain about our country here and there, but as a conclusion i freaking love MALAYSIAAA.

PS: I've been to othere african countries but this is definitely the worst! Eg: Ghana, Kenya, i feel safe walking around and shop.If i can avoid it, would never want to go there anymore.

No Sound on Astro on my Home Theater

Hi All,

I just recently install my HTS that is Samsung HT-D5130k on my samsung 4 series Plasma TV. The problem is the sound is okay if im using the bluray player on the HDMI source but when i change to Astro thats using AV source theres no sound being emit.

The sound only emits when i off the Bluray. (Basically the sounds is okay on TV speaker).

Can any experts in LYN advice me on this matter. I really appreciate if anyone can advice me on this.

The 4 PR states RM25 billion investments have beat the other 10 BN states attracted 53% of Malaysia's total investments of RM47.2 billion in 2010.

The 4 PR states of Penang, Selangor, Kedah and Kelantan have beat the other 10 BN states by attracting RM25 billion in investments comprising 53% of Malaysia's total investments of RM47.2 billion in 2010. For the first time in history, Penang is now the new champion of investments in Malaysia, coming out top in 2010.

Penang replaced the previous 2009 champion Sarawak by recording RM12.2 billion in 2010 as compared to Sarawak RM3.9 billion. Penang was No. 4 in 2009 with RM2.1 billion but shot up 5 times to No. 1. On the other hand Sarawak went down from No.1 in 2009 with RM8.5 billion to No. 4 with RM3.9 billion in 2010. Penang's success in drawing in RM12.2 billion is an extraordinary vote of confidence by both foreign and local investors in the PR state government of Penang.

The No. 2 state after Penang is another PR state of Selangor with RM10.6 billion in investments. In fact the 4 PR states of Penang, Selangor, Kedah and Kelantan combined comprise RM25 billion investments or 53% of the total investments in Malaysia of RM47,177 million in 2010. These 4 PR states alone can beat the remainder 10 states of BN Malaysia combined!

Despite the financial constraints and limitations imposed by BN, PR have shown our good governance. In Penang we have excelled by being praised by the Auditor-General Report for being the best financially managed state with record surpluses of RM88 million in 2008 and RM77 million in 2009. Penang became the first state government in history to be commended by Transparency International for CAT (Competency, Accountability and Transparency) governance in establishing integrity in leadership.

We have wiped out hard-core poverty, the first state to do so in Malaysia. We are giving senior citizens RM100 every year and when they die, their beneficiaries a one-off RM1,000/-. All partially assisted schools of Chinese,Tamil and Sekolah Agama Rakyat are given a fixed sum of at least RM11.3 million every year. We are working towards a wi-fi state offered free of charge.

Penang is going green and leading in green practices such as "No Free Plastic Bag" campaigns and waste treatment through 3R of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Penang enjoys the cheapest water rates in the country. Penang is also the Silicon Valley of Malaysia and selected as the most livable city in Malaysia on par with Kuala Lumpur. We have done more in 3 years what BN fail to do in 51 years.

So who says that PR can not govern. We may not have the experience but neither do we have the experience to cheat or be corrupt. PR has proven that a clean government can outperform corrupt governments. Voters of Tenang should choose PR that offers a better future not only for you but for your children.

PR is the better choice because we embrace the future. We embrace the future by embracing each and every one of you whether Malays, Indians, Chinese, Kadazans and Ibans as Malaysian brothers and sisters, Malaysian sons and daughters. Hi all,

I encountered a problem where my netbook will show a message saying "windows has encountered a criticakl problem, please save all your work and it will restart in 1 minute". I know that this happen because of some rootki/virus/malware in my computer.

I found the culprit on this (i think so) and the file name is evgbaplj.sys using malwarebytes. but the problem is that it cannot be deleted, even after being quarintine the file is still there and i can see that the file is being updated regularly(meaning it follows my time accordingly). I tried to restore back pc, using antirootkit but it doesnt work, coz the file is still there.I tried using killbot to delete but still cannot.

If any of the sifu in this area can help me i would be very glad.

Increase stability

hello readers,

I really need some assistance on my fiancee's car that is Myvi. I tried driving her myvi and i feel that it is very risky where it can turtle anytime at a sharp corner especially when it is raining.

She usually use the Jalan Semantan huge turn and when it rains i feel like it is going to turtle. This is very dangerous and im scared that it could cause an accident if this continues.

So my question is, what can i do on her car eg: change bigger rims,bars,increase weight?

I asked her to change car but she cant do it because she still owes the bank like freaking 15k more.

I felt really cheated on her side (Effing banks) because she has been using that car for nearly 3 years and she still owes more than 15k even after selling it. This past 3 years is just paying the interest!

Hello lowyatians,

I have a problem with my office email account. My boss wants me to cnfigure all the email in the office. He wants it so that they can access on the desktop or remotely via webmail.

my problem is that i install microsoft outlook (ori ones) on each of the desktop and the email works fine. The main issue that is when im accesssing via webmail the inbox in the webmail is empty. If i open it with the outlook everything is there.

From my knowledge i know that email will be stored in the desktop and the server it self but y isit my inbox in the webmail is empty. I tried different webmail such as horde, squirelmail, roundcoube etc2 but still fail to do so.

Any advice is truly appreciated

my cousin recently bought a recon Alphard from japan n the manual and setting is all in Japanese. The problem is we are underutilising the car because we cannot read the manual and how to test the function of the car.

We just try and test all the button,even the DVD or harddisk function to store songs in the car is hard to do.

So my question is,

1) is there any way to convert the language to English and what is the normal price for that?

2) Do i need to change the console or ECu of this car for it?

I am really seeking for help because i have no idea what to do and most of the shop does not have the knowledge for it.

Control volume for each speaker

hello all,

I've been googling for the past few weeks on how to calibrate and control the volume speaker for each of my 7.1 speaker but it seems that i cannot find one.

On my control panel on the sound properties there is only the treble and bass volume. FYI im using xfi elite pro sound card and the software has those crystalise,eax and dolby thing that i try to play around with but theres is no tabs where i am able to make my surround become higher compared to my left ,centre or rear.

If anybdy can help me with this problem or recommend me a good software on how to calibrate the volume for each speaker i would be grateful enough.

hello there,

I would like to know if any of u in /k/ had been summon before by DBKL. Currently my company is around Help college and they do not provide a parking for us. The "legal" parking there is always full because there were only like 20 slots of it and hence i can only park at the side of the road or sometimes around the housing area.

This effing DBKl guys keep on coming everyday and i kept around 50 summons this past 3 month. At first i pay the summon but since i cant find any alternative parking slot (even the parking there cost rm3 per hour so 8 hour is = rm24). Who the f wants to pay rm24 daily for parking only.

So is there any possibilities that i can be taken to court or compound for not paying the summon or what is the consequences for not paying the summon.

Please, i really need help to because 50 summon is like rm5k. 2 month full salary only can pay that.haizzz

HTC touch cruise

Hello forrumer,

I'd been using my touch cruise since last year and a few days back it gave me a problem with the touch panel problem.

The problem is that the touch panel suddenly misaligned with the place that i touched it. Now i am unable to unlock my phone because it is mapped to the right side and we can only unlock via the touch panel.

I tried to email HTC support but untl now there is no feedback yet. Besides that i check on website on this type of problem but it seems that there is no definite answer towards this situation.

The warranty period just ended a month ago and i really need to unlock my phone so that i can save all my contacts and important messages.

I really appreciate if there is somebody here that has any idea on what should i do to repair it or is there anyway to unlock this phone without the touch panel. Any help is really appreciated.

Im not to sure either im posting this on the right thread but basically me n my colleagues are planning for a paintball match among us.

We ask some of our friend n they gave us a price of RM85 per head for 500 pallets plus equipment. The place is either ulu yam or batu cave.

I would juz like to noe is this the standard price for a paintball game since ive never played it b4 and ths would be my ist time trying it.

Any advice is appreciated and really hope any of u guys can help me..
