payment gateway transaction charges

Most of the online payment gateway charge 2-4% transaction fee, but how is this transaction fee charged? 2-4% of the payment amount or let say bank charge RM 1 for each transaction, payment gateway charge the 2-3% from the RM 1?

Now they came out with GST somemore, anyone know how to calculate GST as well?

This is a very old model camera, the battery port inside the camera is not working after checking at canon store, but they said since it is old model, they don't have the spare-part, if trade-in only worth rm50 sth~ but i think the problem is really small, it is not worth to trade in, so anyone can give me suggestion?
