I heard that the unit can't be sold and rent within 10 years, is that so?

Looking for Property for Investment

Dear all daigos,

I am looking for a property for investment as my my car loan almost settled and not worthy for me to save the money in the bank due to low interest.

This is my first investment property so I am not sure if I am too naive on my planning. As a result, I am looking for advice and guidance from all daigos and investors.

Hereby are some of my consideration for the property:

1. Any type of property that the amount <RM400k;
2. Easy to rent out or tenanted;
3. Looking for rental that can give a surplus after deducting the installment, maintenance fees and so on or can have a breakeven;
4. Preferred areas: Serdang, Kajang, Cheras, Damansara, PJ, Puchong, Sunway, Subang...
5. Target tenant: Malaysian (student, family, professional and so on...)

If the above is workable, I just wonder is there is property that I can further study and consider.

Your advice and comment are really appreciated for me to grow in the property investment.
