Anyone skin dry out from supplement?

Hi everyone, I would like to ask is there anyone get dry skin when take certain supplement and found out what the root cause of it or deficiency on mineral/vitamin that cause drier skin.

My body is quite sensitive & my skin is kinda dry in the first place and I drink enough of water daily (2.5-3 litres per day). However I start noticing my skin (mostly on my leg and hand) will get drier until the itchy state and my finger cuticle will start peeling when I took some of the supplement. It almost like dehydrate my skin and i noticed my face does not produce any oil which normally my face will be a bit of oily by the end of the day. My symptom will happen in 1-2 days when i take the supplement. This drier symptom stop and my cuticle back to normal once i have stopped the supplement. I noticed it happen when I took cod liver oil, krill oil, probiotics, magnesium malate (was not trying all at once, was taking it each alone).

I have test a few different brand on these supplement, end up getting the same result. By right these supplement suppose to help up dry skin but am getting the opposite result. I am very confused. If anyone experience the same thing, kindly share and appreciate for helping me up. Many thanks.

Shower Filter Caused ME Breakout!

Hi, wanna ask you guys whether anyone of you experience bad skin after bathing with filtered water. I noticed for some time my sensitive skin is quite dry which I believe due to the water in my condo is not very clean and high chlorine. After google taking note how bad is chlorine water cause to our skin, so I purchase a shower filtered to filter the water, which using kdf filter and coconut shell carbon (to filter out the residual chlorine). Out of my surprise after using bout 4 days, I was breakout with itchy bump and hives especially on my face.

I thought maybe I sensitive with the coconut shell, so I purchase another brand kdf filter without any add-on filtering thingy. End up I breakout after twice baths. I am bit confused and thought i might be allergic with the KDF technology filtering.

Then I purchased a korean brand that come with sediment filter plus chlorine removal ball (CaSo3) method shower filter to test. I can see the sendiment filter turn yellow and brown in matter of few days but I also end up itchy after about a week. This time I strongly believed I might not suitable for those redox reaction (KDF/Calcium Sulfite).

Lastly I purchase a japanese brand shower filter that using only fibre activated carbon, <sigh...> end up with the allergic reaction as well. FYI, all those filter product i purchased, I did chlorine testing on the filtered water, the color remains transparent, where else unfiltered water, turned to very yellow.

I am very confused now, how come my skin get reacted with filtered water. By right, my skin should be at least no reaction or getting betta when the water quality is improved or getting less element inside.

TLDR:

Need help or experience sharing!!! Skin only dry using unfiltered shower water, skin reacted with itchy and bumpy (especially face) using below shower filtered:
1> KDF Filter with coconut shell carbon Shower Filter
2> KDF Filter Shower Filter
3> Sediment filter with Chlorine removal ball filter
4> Fiber Activated Carbon Shower Filter

So I did the laser and it end up red spot all over my forehead.

For 1st 2-3 weeks, it looks good as the skin is healing and flatten. After 1 month, it seems the spots grow back bumpy. It is already 2 months now, the same bump spots are coming back cry.gif

Anyone out there are experience the same and found a solution on this? Recently I have encounter two of my client (Comp A & B/Not related) their company client (From Italy and Holland) received email from them that asked the client to update/pay to another Bank account and this particular email also contain of their previous email conversation history and attachment of their valid company letterhead, chop and signature. Luckily both of my client's client call them to double confirm only found out it is a fraud/scam mail. The sender email address looks almost identical, i.e john@abc.com.my (valid) change to john@abc.com

I am sure that their system have been hacked however I just dunno how it happen or whether it hacked to the users pc, mail server (host outside) or maybe hacked in the company client mail system. They are protected with firewall appliance on their network and kaspersky antivirus. I have scan their pc with Kaspersky antivirus, Spybot, malwarebyte, hijackthis and found nothing. Other than this, I also changed the affected users mail password. Planing to call the mail hosting tomorrow to check with them any possibility it is hacked from their side. Of course, if it was hacked from my client's client, then it is out of my control dy.

I have googled and found out most of this case happen due to hacker penetrated to the supplier mail account.

http://qualityinspection.org/china-scam-email/

Any IT security sifu or users that have experience bout this.
Urgently Need Advise...

Hi guys, I need some opinions from you guys. My mum starts stomach pain last Monday, and she went to clinic and Doc prescribed her gastric medicine, but the pain still on and go. Until last Thursday, suddenly she was in great pain on her bladder area. It was so pain till she cant walk. I quickly bring her to Selayang Hospital emergency. After blood test and x ray, doctor said she have urinary tract infection and have some small stones in her bladder which cause the pain in the area. And the Doc said no need for surgery and will prescribe solution to break the stone. The doctor gave antibiotic, vitamin c, vitamin b complex, urinary alkalinizer (to break the tiny stone) She is getting better on her bladder area but still slightly pain around the stomach area. So I ask her to take the gastric medicine as well see whether it helps or not. After took the gastric medicine, she felt much betta and we think this is it, she will be getting better.

Suddenly this morning, she cried that she's very pain at the whole abdominal and back. I brought her back to Selayang Hospital, Doc said Xray, blood test, urine test, pressure, heart rate all okay(except there a still tiny stone in her bladder which will not caused the whole abdomen pain). And she said this kinda pain may be caused by severe gastric or stomach ulcer. So, the doctor gave a stronger gastric medicine and also make appointment for endoscopy to check whether got ulcer or anything in her stomach (24 of april, u know la government hospital)

Now I am thinking to get second opinion from private Hospital. The things is I afraid,touch wood if anything wrong while waiting for the checking(still 3 weeks to go) and what if the medicine can't helps also and my mum still in great pain. I will regret myself to die if thing worst due to too late getting medical care.

Any of you guys have this experience or any private hospital that good on this area to recommend. Or whether should I wait and see for a few days. Lastly, my mum do not have insurance, so the medical bill I have to pay myself. So i also scare the checking will cause few thousands.

Pls advise. Thank you!

I dunno whether is it legit or not?

Subject:
XXX XXXX SDN BHD (XXXXXXX): Microsoft Software Asset Management Review

Dear Mr XXX

Recently your organisation was contacted by Microsoft notifying you of the Software Asset Management (SAM) review process and this email is a follow-up to that correspondence.

The steps in the review process are as follows;

Process Steps
We ask you to complete the attached deployment summary (spreadsheet format) and return to us via email.
Once we receive your deployment summary we will analyse the Microsoft software in use against the licenses held and provide you with an Estimated License Ownership Position.  There may be areas that require further clarification;
When this is done, a finalised License Ownership Position (as of the date of the review) will be provided, detailing what you own and what we understand you are using, based on the information you have supplied.  This final summary will detail over-licensing or any apparent variances that may need to be remedied;
Along with the final License Ownership Position summary you will also receive a Software Asset Management Tips guide.
In order to make the process as efficient as possible we would highlight the following:
You may wish to engage your IT Partner to assist you through (or even manage) the process on your behalf;
We recommend that you request from your IT partner/s a list of Microsoft licenses you have purchased via OEM (bundled with hardware) or FPP (boxed retail copies).  The purpose of this is to ensure that we are evaluating your total license ownership position.  Please note that records of licenses purchased under a Volume License Program (such as Open, Select or Enterprise) will be already available in the Microsoft records system;
Microsoft makes available a free-downloadable software product to assist with the inventory - MAP (Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit), which is a powerful inventory, assessment and reporting tool that can securely assess IT environments for various platform migrations and virtualization without the use of any software agents for up to 100,000 PCs.  It is available at www.microsoft.com/map;
If you have purchased Volume Licenses under a different company name or have acquired other organisations who may have purchased licenses, please try to have this information available. This will enable us to identify any licenses you own which have been purchased under alternative names.
The documents attached to this email:
•        A generic copy of the letter originally sent to your organisation by Microsoft;
•        A document that covers some of the frequently asked questions regarding the review process;
• A deployment summary that we would appreciate your response to by 2-May-2013. If, for any reason, you are unable to meet this timeframe please contact us by return email.

What you can expect to get out of the review?
•        Consolidation of all your licensing records into one concise report which can then be maintained and modified by your organisation in the future;
•        Assistance with understanding licensing rules, and, in particular, how they relate to your own specific situation;
•        Licensing expertise and advice available to you throughout the process, free of charge;
• Guidance regarding ongoing Software Asset Management.

Please note that if your organisation acquires its Microsoft software licenses from an off-shore parent company then we will not continue with the review process. We would instead just need to ask you one or two clarifying questions by telephone and the review will then be closed.

Please do ask questions if you are not sure about the information you are being asked to provide, or if you have any queries whatsoever in regards to the SAM review process.

Thank you for your assistance.

Nor Hagarwaty Buang
SAM Representative
Microsoft – Software Asset Management
Tel.: 1-800-22-0117
v-nbuang@microsoft.com
www.microsoft.com
