Year End Round Up. New Car that is value for money

The year 2013 will be soon over and we have left with only 14 days starting from today (17th December 2013) which I do have the below article on the above mention matter.

After reading the above article. As I would agree that why would they no include our Person Preve, Suprima S which I personally think that this is so called Value For Money cars as well.

They (new proton cars) have been equipped with a "much better" spec as to compare to those which is listed in the article as value for money cars..

Does this means that proton will need to reduce to at least a rock bottom price os RM50,000 ++ in order to claim that title?

Or
Is that due to the branding or brand name will affect those ratings?

Thoughts ans comments?

Hi there all,

I was in the market to search for a new car, this would be my 1st car. hence I have do a pool as what I do have in my mind as for now.

I would really appreciate that if any one in here that can help me to vote (In your opinion) which car you would choose to get?

I do also fully appreciate that if everyone can provide some feedback for the above cars as well. I do know that there are some alternative for my budget up till RM75K. Do feel free to suggest other cars as well.
