About Gateway/Server TMnet linking

I've been told by a TMnet guy that the issue I'm facing now is that the Gateway/Server my connection is having is the one at fault that causes me to have lag issue towards the game server I'm playing, so they cant do anything to help about it and is out of their control. He has also mentioned that the Gateway/Server is different from person to person, so others will not experience connection problem while I am. He claims that TMnet is only responsible of linking me to that Gateway/Server, and anything beyond the Gateway is out of their control. And nothing can be done regarding this matter.

So I would like to ask if anyone has any idea concerning what I've been told or know something about the gateway/server stuff? Is this gateway/server thing true and is out of reach of TM? Is there anything I can ask or request to solve my matter?

Thanks...

Getway/Server out of TMnet's control

Broadband provider
ISP/package: 512kbps
Location: miri, sarawak
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: yes

Personal equipment
Modem: Dlink DSL-2542B
Router: Dlink DSL-2542B
Firewall used: Windows Firewall

Problem details
First occurence of problem: since year 2007 i think
Problem frequency: often, like once for a few months and lasted weeks..
Problem description:
for some reason, my connections to some sites internationally are like totatlly lost or very slow(either i cant establish connection to the site or the site wont load completely after a long time). however this is not a permanent issue, after few weeks then everything will be back to normal, smooth surfing etc. so it's like seasonally.

i have been contacting the TMnet customer help desk through email and i'm always getting the same respond asking me to do troubleshooting steps and taking ping screenshots. finally, there's someone with better knowledge called me and is currently handling my case. and through what he diagnoses, one of the website im having problem with, told by him is that the gateway my connection is having is the one having problem connecting to the website, so it is out of reach of TMnet.

So what i really want to know is is this true? Does TMnet only link us to the Gateway/Server thing (as told by him)? so if there is problem between gateway and website, there's nothing they can do about it? He said that TMnet only provide us the path to the gateway/server. and there will be problem with the connection of the gateway/server occasionally(but mine is too often) and im always having trouble with website/server that i wanted to use the most. however its not all the international websites are dead for me, but just those that i wanted to surf/play most. websites like google yahoo youtube etc are working fine for me.

So i wanted to ask is all this above told by that guy true? Is there anyway for me myself to help solve this problem if they are putting blame on the gateway/server that is at fault and they cant do anything? Will changing the ip range helps? i've asked them a few times to change my ip range but they just wont. my ip range is 60.52.xxx.xxx . i never get ip other than this regardless how many times i reconnect.

so if TM are not helping me, hope u guys help me to help myself.

thanks.
