IPO : PMW INTERNATIONAL

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 28): PMW International Bhd on Tuesday launched its initial public offering (IPO) that will raise close to RM91 million from the ACE Market.

The concrete products maker is now accepting applications from investors for its shares at 34 sen apiece, according to its prospectus. The IPO will raise RM60.66 million for PMW from the public issue of new shares and another RM30.33 million for its selling shareholders from the sale of existing shares.

Applications for the IPO will close on Nov 6, and listing is scheduled for Nov 18.

PMW manufactures and sells a variety of pre-stressed concrete products, including spun concrete poles, piles and related items. The company also produces moulds, machinery and lighting products for the power, telecommunication and construction sectors in Malaysia and abroad.

Based in Lahat, Perak, PMW also has manufacturing facilities in Sabah.

Nearly 78% of the IPO proceeds will support business expansion, including the construction of a new facility in Tanjung Manis, Sarawak, to manufacture spun poles and piles to better serve customers in East Malaysia and tap into growing infrastructure opportunities in Sabah and Sarawak.

The remainder will be used to purchase new machinery and equipment, and as working capital.

Proceeds from the offer for sale, meanwhile, will go to chief executive officer Lee Hon Hwa and his siblings Khim Hwa and Siew Yoke as well as Richard Lee, who is in charge of overseeing PMW’s Sabah operations. Khim Hwa is the executive director responsible for business development while Siew Yoke is the chief human resources officer.

KAF Investment Bank Bhd is the principal adviser, sponsor, sole underwriter and sole placement agent for the IPO.

KUALA LUMPUR: Aquawalk Group Bhd aims to raise RM114.3 million from its initial public offering (IPO) ahead of its ACE Market listing on Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd on Nov 19, 2025.

The developer and operator of Aquaria KLCC said RM89.77 million, or 78.6 per cent of the total proceeds, will be allocated for capital expenditure, and RM3 million (2.6 per cent) for information technology system improvements.

Another RM14.94 million (12.7 per cent) will be utilised as working capital, and the remaining RM7 million or 6.1 per cent is for estimated listing expenses.

Aquawalk group chief executive officer Daryl Foong said the company’s listing is a significant milestone for the group and for Malaysia’s tourism industry.

"It demonstrates that Malaysia has the regional capacity and the capability to provide world-class entertainment and education and to push the envelope in terms of what is possible for our schooling, our education, our conservation,” he said at the launch of the company’s prospectus.

He said it was possible to carry out educational and conservation work while remaining profitable.

The group plans to expand regionally with new oceanariums in Surabaya, Indonesia and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with completion targeted within the next three years, Foong said.

"We intend these locations to be within 40,000 to 70,000 square feet (sq ft). We have bigger ones of about 100,000 sq ft in Phuket,” he said.

He said construction will begin after the IPO. Each new location is expected to employ nearly 100 permanent staff, excluding opportunities created during construction.

The group designs, builds and operates aquariums around the world. In addition to Aquaria KLCC, it also owns and operates Aquaria Phuket and has a 40 per cent stake in Jakarta Aquarium and Safari.

The group will undertake a public issue of 368.6 million new ordinary shares and an offer for sale of 368.6 million existing shares.

Under the public issuance, 92.15 million shares will be made available for application by the Malaysian public, 4.68 million shares to eligible directors, employees and persons who have contributed to the Aquawalk's success, and 271.76 million shares by way of private placement.

The offer for sale will involve 230.37 million existing shares made available by way of private placement to bumiputra investors approved by the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry, and 138.22 million shares by way of private placement to selected investors.

At an IPO price of 31 sen apiece, the company will have a market cap of RM571.3 million based on a total enlarged share capital of 1.84 billion shares on listing.

Application for the public issue portion opens today and closes at 5 pm on Nov 7, 2025.

i have an ipad 2 bought in 2012
not using it for past 1 year
recently try to restart it and noted there is battery and software problem
not able to turn it on without connecting to charger
and also not able to update to newer ios

due to work i am thinking to get a new ipad
should i repair it or get an new ipad 2017 at rm1500++ ??

checked out the repair cost , which will be > rm500 including labour charges and all the repair fees

parking space got block by neighbour car

i currently rent a room in landed house in pahang due to work
the taman road is quite narrow and barely fit 2 car side by side
because the house owner renting out room by room , there is 3 car total included mine , but we still manage to squeeze out enough parking space within the our house area
but recently neighbour start to park infront of our house creating parking space issue ( despite he having large parking space infront of his own house )
we try to talk to him , but too bad he is 1 of the rudest people i ever meet and refuse to move away his car

What can i do beside asking help from house owner ?
is making police report will be useful in this type of case ?
Please help
