Startup Bussiness and Loan

Hi all,

Would like to hear some advice and tips from you guys.

My partner and I are planning to open a cafe, it's our first business of any sort. We have some start up fund on our own (but limited). We tried to consult several banks for loan procedures and found out that most of the banks do not provide loan for start up businesses. Our plan is to then look for smaller banks to see if they provide loans for start up business.

If you guys have experience in starting up a company or know the procedures, I hope you can share the experience here, especially if you are in the food industry like opening a restaurant/cafe. How did you manage to get the start up fund and what are the procedures? Roughly how much do you think is enough to operate a cafe?

Looking for contacts of people to move piano

Hi,

I'm looking to move a piano to an apartment and also for piano tuning. The apartment is located at 3rd floor and have to walk by stairs. The hallway and door is narrow so the piano has to be upright to move in.

Can someone recommend cheap and reliable company contacts to move piano? You can post here or PM me the contacts.

Thanks!

Finding a classical piano teacher around KL

Hi,

I am an adult piano student who have been taking piano lessons for a little over a year now. To date, I have had 5 piano teachers, some for a really short period of time. I am really interested in playing classical music and to my frustration most teachers I know are more skillful in playing modern/pop music and know little about classical music. Tbh, I don't learn much from my piano teachers. They usually give comments on my playing tempo, correcting my wrong notes etc. Those are helpful, but I need something more than that.

I want a teacher who can teach me the expressive details of a piece, someone who can explain and analyze the details of a piece and what kind of mood should I play it in etc. Really just someone who can teach me more on the musicality side rather than focusing only on some technical details. I also would like a teacher who can teach me effective ways of practicing on my own.

I am very committed in learning to play the piano and I would greatly appreciate if anyone here can recommend a piano teacher who can teach well in classical music? Preferably somewhere around Cheras/KL.

If you share similar experience in having difficulty finding a good classical piano teacher please also share your experience here and how you go about the problem.

Thanks
