Seeking advice on car not more than 90k

Dear all,

I am wishing to own a car that can fit 5 people comfortably along with decent space for luggage worth of 5 people.
My family arent in Malaysia and when they visit, each of them would need to bring their stuffs thus i need this boot space

I am budgeting the car at maximum of no more than RM 90k.

If sifus here can perhaps provide me with objective advice
Apart from comfort, id love to find a car with some decent safety features like VSA, ABS, EBD since im ideally purchasing with my family in mind.

Whats in my mind right now:
Honda City V
Currently priced below 90k (hope it wont hike up next year). I tried to read around and its said to have nice fuel consumption and great safety features (all those high tensile steel bodyframe, 6airbags, brakes system etc).
I've tried one too and the cabin and trunk space are simply humongous for B Segment car.
It also has rear aircon vent which i find to be pleasing for tropical climate like this (i often worry if my family at the back would feel hot... but front passenger cannot tahan too cold so i cant really turn the aircon max in non-rear aircon vent car)
But i seem to read around about the gearbox issue

Honda Civic Hybrid 2013
Its more of a preferential here (albeit i mention objectivity above.. what an irony) but i seem to have some fetish for this hybrid (the new lithium, the IMA, the funny color changing dashboard meter). It also has decent and comfortable cabin space and trunk (tho bit small to conventional civic due to the battery pack)
CMIIW but this car has 6 airbags, vsa etc etc too. Moreover, by getting 2013 car.. it should still be under Honda's 5 years warranty
Most reviews i read seem to say that the FC's pretty decent. Frankly speaking... im most familiar with the driving experience of the 2007 civic model and im sort of using that in assuming the driving dynamics in this civic (minus the power etc since its a hybrid)

What's bugging me tho, some user seem to illustrate hybrid as 'money grabber' here.. how its tech cost a lot etc.
This version has new battery pack (lithium) which supposedly is lighter and better in power storing. Ive also read that honda extended the battery warranty to 10 years. If any owner or experienced sifu here can factually advice me... on the reliability of this civic 2013 hybrid. I should be within the middle income bracket.. it wouldnt do my cashflow well if i end up needing to fork out several thousands of ringgit just for maintenance on this car.

I tried and considered few other cars like used ASX but the rear seat seems a bit too straight and would be tiring for long journey.
Also.. i kinda rule out korean cars, ford, vw because of the bleak interior design. Im okay with conti interior like bmw and merc but they are simply not feasible in terms of cost of acquisition and cost of ownership since i might not be in Malaysia for many years to come.

If anyone could help advice me on this, thank you in advance
