Agent fees to Tenant for property rental

Hi,
As per the subject, is this a common practice? A friend is trying to rent a place in JB and surprisingly enough, all the property agents are asking for agent fees. I do understand there would be fees borne by the owner who is requesting the services of the agent to find a tenant for their place. Usually a month of rent for a year lease, etc.
But never have I heard to a tenant who is finding a place themself via propertyguru, etc. The fee is somewhat like 3/4 of the 1st month rental.

Just curious to know from other owners, tenants or agents here.

Rear dashcam

Hi,

As per the topic, I'd like to pasang a rear dashcam. Will any dashcam do?

Currently my front dashcam is a Xiaomi 70mai. Would there be a better recommendation to have a cleaner look for the back dashcam? Don't want one that is protruding very clearly at the back window.

GPU suggestion (budget 2k<)

Hi all,

As per the update, I'm looking to upgrade my gpu. it's been a long needed upgrade for my old PC. I've just recently bought a ryzen 3600 cpu + mobo (ddr4 ram 8gb x 2). All that is left is a GPU.

I've been looking to get the RTX 2060 for sometime now just because it has a longer warranty period and Nvidia has always been the stable one vs AMD in drivers. However I've been checking up on some video reviews on the GPUs (Green v Red camp) and there has been some improvement for the 5600 xt.

Now I'm torn between the both. Should I go for the 5600 xt over the RTX 2060 for the slight performance improvement or get the stable one among the both, the RTX 2060. Just to note, my budget is about 2k< and I noticed I can also opt for the Sapphire Pulse 5700 xt which is selling for RM1999.

I would like to hear opinions of forumers who has any of the above cards.

Just casually found the two highest rated brand new 23"-25" monitor on Lazada.

Been considering one for sometime now and since there's no longer any gst which should I get? A question, if I'd ever want a dual monitor setup, is the flat one better for that?

Usage wise pretty standard. Gaming and for daily use I suppose.

Hello everyone, is it possible for a company to bond for up to 2 years with no pay increment after a year?

Currently I'm in my probation period for an Associate position (fresh grad). After my probation I will be bonded for up to 2 years due to company will be funding my certification which is relevant for my job.

From the contract, they told me the bonding doesn't entitle me for a pay increment after a year working or any additional benefits like allowances.

So meaning after 3 months probation, I will be switched to a permanent position (no pay increase) with a 2year bond.

I was speaking with a few friends of mine and one of them mentioned to me that this goes against the Labor law in Malaysia.

Could anyone kindly elaborate on this matter and help clear some of the confusion I have on this matter. Thanks!

I know its not about cars but you could say its somewhat related to it.

My brother's 23rd bday is coming soon so i thought of getting him a gift which somewhat relates to a car.

I guess somewhat related is that my brother drives a 1.6 manual persona.. No idea of the specific model. I'm kind of dumb when it comes to cars except driving one.

currently i have one 92mm on my xigmatek loki as intake and i would like another as exhaust.

any suggestion?

and also do recommend on a fan hub that's decently priced. I was looking up on nzxt grid+ so as to that I can easily control the fan speeds, but from reviews the CAM software is not that too reliable and doesn't change the fan speeds at time.
