Computer for Siemen NX Usage

Hi fellow Kupitards

Friend is looking to built his own computer and his job is doing tooling design which uses Siemen NX. He is looking for a computer to replace his aging workstation built 4-5 years ago.

Is there anyone with similar industry or uses Siemen NX? What kind of mobo, proc, GPU, RAM is required for best performance when using the Siemen NX?

How to check if your StreamyX is Public IP

Just found this from reading some of the forums, thought I share it here.

If ayam slowpoke, mohon maaf

1. First using the internet browser and go to www.whatismyip.com WhatIsMyIP

2. Next, login to your StreamyX router and look at the Device Info Page.

If the WAN IP matches, then you are on Public IP.

If not, go bug TM by calling 100.

Note: Public IP (as opposed to Private IP) is needed to host services on your LAN, for example, CCTV viewing.

Boy playing with firecrackers dies

KUCHING: A 12-year-old boy who was playing with fire-crackers in a village near here early Sunday was found dead following a loud explosion, according to police.

Kuching police chief Asst Comm Abang Ahmad Abang Julai said Haiqal Hakim Zolpaka was found dead by his father at 12.15am outside his house in Kampung Bintawa Hilir.

The father had rushed out following the explosion and found Haiqal Hakim lying lifeless with injuries to his head, he said in a statement.

Neighbours helped to carry the boy into the house and waited for the police to come, he added.

ACP Abang Ahmad said an investigation showed that Haiqal Hakim had been playing with firecrackers alone all night.

The body was sent to the Sarawak General Hospital for a post-mortem, he added. - Bernama

Tokyo airport debuts toilet paper for smartphones

TOKYO: Toilets in Japan are famously hygienic and technologically advanced.

Now, Narita Airport in Tokyo has installed mini toilet paper rolls in the toilets of its arrival hall for visitors' smartphones, The Mainichi reported on Wednesday.

Information about WiFi services and travel tips are also printed on the paper, which is mounted beside the regular toilet paper.

The toilet paper for smartphones, installed by cellular phone operating giant NTT Docomo, can be found in 86 stalls at seven bathrooms in the airport.

They are set to remain until March 15 next year, The Mainichi said.

Docomo hopes to solve two problems travellers may face.

The first is that smartphones have been found to be riddled with germs, and can be dirtier than toilet seats.

The company has also provided information about connecting to Docomo WiFi as tourists in Japan have had trouble accessing it, according to a survey by the Japan Tourism Agency.

The telco has even produced a video showing visitors how to use the toilet and the new mobile phone toilet paper. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network

Wife of Koh Tsu Koon dies of cancer

GEORGE TOWN: Puan Sri Chui Kah Peng, the wife of former Penang chief minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, passed away peacefully early Sunday after losing her battle with cancer.

Chui died at about 1am at the Gleneagles Medical Centre ward room surrounded by close family members.

Eight hours of religious chanting was held at the ward and arrangements have been made for her body to be brought to her residence in Pulau Tikus.

Penang Barisan Nasional chief Teng Chang Yeow said Chui was a nice and caring person.

"She is thoughtful on the needs of others. It is a great loss to us, especially in Gerakan," he said.

State Gerakan acting chairman Oh Tong Keong offered his deepest condolences on the demise of Chui, while Penang Gerakan Legal bureau chief Datuk Baljit Singh said the party lost a very caring personality, who did so much for the needy.

"May her soul rest in peace," Baljit said.

Chui's funeral will be held on Thursday (July 28).

Please be informed that Prudential is currently running the medical card upgrade to the newest PruValue Med for its existing customers.

Eligible customers are able to upgrade via the Guaranteed Issuance Offer (GIO) or under the Simple Issuance Offer (SIO). GIO is no require to declare the health status, whereas customers selected under the SIO are require to provide simple health declarations.

The features of the PruValue Med are as follows:-

1. Med Value Point (MVP) of Rm1m, Rm1.5m and Rm2m (once total cummulative claims has exceeded the MVP, Prudential will still pay 80% of the bill.

For older medical plan that has annual limit, the question is that when we are really ill, are we able to wait for another year in order to claim?

2. No lifetime limit.

3. If a Rm300 or more Room & Board is selected, for every 2 years of no claim, a 2% Med Value Bonus will be added to the MVP. This is to ensure that the medical card is able to withstand future medical inflation.

4. PruValue Med is one of the only medical card that covers for Maternity Complication Benefits in a medical card.

5. For outpatient Cancer Treatment and Kidney Dialysis, PruValue Med also covers Take Home Drugs, Long Term Meds and Consultation Treatment (which wasnt covered in older medical plans PMM3 and above).

6. Features day care procedure, of which the client is not required to be admitted for minor surgical procedure. For example endoscopy or simple cysts removal.

Khairy agrees to football debate

PETALING JAYA: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has agreed to a debate with Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim on the decline on Malaysian football and who is responsible for it.

"I'm not sure if it will benefit football or not, but I accept. If not, people will say I do not want to confront (him)," said Khairy at a press conference on Wednesday to the royal suggestion for a debate on the issue.

Khairy said that he accepts the challenge and is ready to express his views on football in Malaysia.

"I accept the challenge to attend and say what has to be said,'" he said.

On Tuesday, Tunku Ismail had called for a debate between himself, a representative from the Football Association of Malaysia, Khairy, national coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee, National Football Development Plan project director Lim Teong Kim and former Malaysian coach B. Sathianathan.

“Let’s do it for our football fans. Their voices should be our priority because we serve them and they have the right to know the truth about what is the actual problem facing Malaysian football,” he said in a statement on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page.
