License to operate shisha lounge?

Hi, Im currently in the works to start a simple shisha lounge, you could call it a 'warung' of sorts, just shisha and non alcoholic drinks. Will be looking to registering an enterprise instead of sdn bhd. And as far as licensing goes. Was wondering if I obtain the license from municipal council or is there another body in charge of this?

Just want to have a little bit of knowledge prior to giving my local municipal council a ring. Under what license is shisha under? As im only looking to be selling beverages Id assume a f&b license has to be obtained. But how does this affect the shisha?

As per title, if youve ever been stopped and searched at a roadblock, why do you think it happened? Why did the cops pick you of all people to be stopped and searched?

Most of my driving life, Ive been incredibly lucky with police as every time I get stopped I assume I speak nicely. I speak extremely fluent malay, often times Ive been asked if I were malay or chinese and even some are shocked when I meet them face to face after speaking malay on the phone but I look chinese (cuz I am) so in my mind I think that plays a factor as Ive always been able to joke around with the cops. (Probably because of you know, the whole “eh cina ni fasih plak bahasa ibunda kita”)

However, recently Ive been stopped 2 times now in the past 3 weeks and both times they asked to search my car. Im in my 20s and drive a 4x4 so I suspect it is my car type they stop and search since they been making rounds busting drug dealers. Of course they found nothing and Ive joked before and asked if its a random search and theyve said “takdala ingatkan bawa dadah”. Granted, both times Ive purposely stopped right behind them while they were on my left as we pulled up to a traffic light, leaving a gap in front of me instead of lining up side by side with the police car. I guess this was ‘suspicious behaviour’.

So kopitiam! Do you think the way you look plays a role? The car you drive plays a role? Or even having things like tattoos and how well you speak or your accent in Malay deems a search by the police? Im sure we have heard of stories from friends and theorised reasons they get stopped and searched in the event of a roadblock! Id love to hear from you guys!

APU or Taylors computer science? A students POV

Ive recently received my offer letter to enrol for a degree in APU computer science. However, reading up I cant help but have an opinion regarding APU being a terrible place to go to. Ive heard nothing about taylors however.

For me, im just trying to get into a uni asap. Ive got taylors and APU on my mind. Possibly sunway but its intake is in ApRil. Hows that stack up?

Any students from APU or taylors like to chime in? Please dont recommend me monash university.

Personally, my issue albeit more of an inconvenience is the formal attire of APU, tucked in mondays to fridays no shorts no jeans is what Im told. But what Im really bothered by is what Ive heard being they are outdated in their teachings? Is anyone able to provide a juxtaposition in regards to other unis like taylors or sunway? Money isnt really an issue but Im not fond of Monash either. I do believe any degree in CS would be fine from anywhere as Im more concerned about the learning environment and people. Would like to have a conversation with students from these institutions! Cheers

Was looking for a neo and holy shit i have so many questions, from my understanding

Neo 2006-2008 = campro non cps nothing special no leather seats just bleh

Neo 2009 above = all campro cps engines + leather seats

Correct me if im wrong. Cause ive been seeing these cars claiming to be ‘manufactured in 2011, 2010’ but having normal non leather cps seats and non cps engine, and going for 20k+??

Am i missing something? My question is, do Neos above 2009 date come without the red black leather seats and/or non cps engines?

I was pretty confident in myself thinking for sure dealers are being a little bitch and lying but now im doubting myself.

alright boys, im EXCITED but also having concerns

Looking at the market for a scirocco, heard loads of shit about it. "dont get the 7 speed" and "every month masuk workshop" even after all the recalls?

But today I would like to believe that is not the case. Long story short,

Initially wanted to get a BRZ/86, can afford, no problem money not an issue. But I changed my mind and love the scirocco, call me gay but i like it ALOT

Looking to buy 2nd hand , was looking at the 1.4 TSI ones and they're going for like 70K-85k ish.

My concerns is i hear alot of shit about it, now i have no issues with paying for parts and whatever but I DONT want to be buying a car that only looks good but isnt reliable for shit.

Please do not tell me to look at a megane. Honestly just want to know what Scirocco owners are saying, any specific things to avoid?

Which College or Uni for foundation + questions

Okay, this is where I have specifics. Simple, just doing foundation in science.

Its complicated. First off, I sort of missed June, July intake and matrics/local unis, cause my stupid ass wrecked my bike and fractured both my hands. So I'm only looking at august/September intake colleges.

Here's the deal. My dad is like the kind of guy who wants me to end up doing my degree in places like UTM or UM cause people *look at you differently* if you graduate there.

And I have questions. Alot of them. I'm a kid who wants answers.

Could I even start foundation in a private college then head to a public uni? I'm not even sure if it works that way.

And does it even matter if I graduate with a degree in engineering from UCSI or UTM/UM. Would it even make a difference?

Ill be needing a car for getting to places. Occasionally getting from Penang to KL. Weekly from Selangor to KL. For very personal family reasons. Worked my ass off for for a year pre Spm and post. Now I'm thinking of getting a car

Here's the deal though. I'll all about it being reliable or rather the most reliable among these 2.

Any 1999 Satria and above. If I'm lucky maybe a neo 06,07.

Or a 5th gen civic sedan

Now both of these cars have 100-150k kms on the clock.

Of course I'm checking the cars pre purchase ahah. But in the circumstance that its all good. Which would be more reliable?

currently I ride a sweeeettt z250sl, I pay rm 700+ for insurance (comprehensive) and rm50 for roadtax.

What does COE even mean or do lol? I've seen things like 'latest COE bid' but its just like lookin at calculus, its retarded haha

Note its buying from an individual not a shop ( cause they're friggen expensive)
