engine overhaul or other maintenance for my car

-driving a proton iswara 1.3 4g13 engine
-millage around 125k
-the car is more than 12 years old if i remember correctly..
-dun really have much smoke off my exhaust.. only sometimes..
-current FC is about 10km/litre (before and after exhaust mod intake mod.... dunno why)
-got like little cracking sound when i floor the throttle from low RPM like on 3rd gear driving on 2.5k rpm and then floor the accelerator when i accelerating can hear a bit of that cracking sound)
-just got all the timing belt changed as they gone real bad and was making a lot of noise...
-clutch is heavy and not smooth to press. can feel a definite roughness to it.
-can feel rough friction on the clutch pedal when driving

the main concern is the FC.... RM 50 for ron95/97 gives me around 270km only..... definitely felt there is power loss with this feul but i had no choice as i here in langkawi it's only ron95 EVERYWHERE.
i am here for my practical training only and will go back to SP and Penang in 2 weeks time. definitely go back to ron97 fuel...

a friend told me my tuning seems to be rich as petrol scent can be smell around the car at times...

i see maddriver offer overhaul over 5k for the whole engine which is to me honestly not a small amount since i haven't start working yet.. no income... but really felt like saving for total overhaul...
any recommendation and suggestion on what i should do?
and since i am going to be staying in penang.. anybody know any good and reliable and reasonable mechanics/garage to recommend?

oh and btw... the weird thing is i tried driving with care. as in slowly.. shift at below 3k rpm... choosing the lanes.... not braking that much and re-accelerate that much..... and the FC is the same as the way when i drive it fast. flooring from time to time.... to around 4k or sometime 5k rpm. going through mountain passes for fun.
the FC will only be worst if i floor it all the time.. like really ALL THE TIME... how bad is 10km/l for a iswara 1.3 =.=

Razer Moray IEM

well as the topic goes i have using Razer Moray as my IEM since the 18th of February this year. exactly 1 day after i purchase my 5800 XpressMusic since the stock earpiece just wont fit the ear properly.

been reading in audiophile section for a while about IEMs and currently looking for replacement and of coz i would like better IEM compare to the Moray i having now.

so the question is. for RM115 is Razer Moray a worth IEM for the value?
shortly after i purchase the moray i did purchase the creative EP-630 for my sister as present for her birthday. from what i tried is i felt that the EP-630 volume is slightly lower than the Moray and i felt better mids and high from the moray compare to the EP-630. but the price is around half the moray so i think it's quite a good value

for those who had tried the razer moray i would very much like to know your opinion on it. does it worth the price? is there any better IEM out there in that price range?

i am quite a basshead. but i do listen to pop, punk rock, jazz from time to time. let's just say i listen to almost anything (besides metal ><)
i like my strong and clean bass. instrument saperation and soundstage is quite important to me as well. and i also appreciate good mids and highs.
currently eyeing on Crossroad Bijou 3 and MusicValley SP1 since i read a lot of good comments here in the forum.
i have a friend recommending Fischer Audio Eterna but i have no idea how much it cost...

so for all the audiophiles in the house please kindly give me some professional opinion on my current Razer Moray.
and also help me decide on my next IEM. (currently still unemployed almost graduate student) so looking for not so expensive entry IEM to enhance my music experience. preferably around the price of the bijou or the SP1. i wanna slowly venture in this expensive hobby ><

i bought a E8600 EO stepping last year (before the E8500 and E8400 was available in EO stepping)
and lucky for me at the end of last year i manage to get a QX9650 (which i believe a lot of people in this forum does)
so... since i got a quaddy... why use duo... so i pull it out of my system and set it aside.... as my dad says he want me to build a PC to put a my hometown for normal usage (web browsing, word processes etc.) but till now he still hasn't given me a go and funding to do so....
so my pity little E8600 is in the box collecting dust..... (without the stock cooler coz i gave to a friend to replace his P4 cooler which is like a jet engine loud =.=)

so i was wondering since the E8400 is selling for around rm600 + - now in the market
how much would my E8600 worth now? coz i can't even find the price in the pricelist of shops available in lowyat home page
its a very good chip... use very low voltage to overclock to 4ghz. temperature very very low also... i love it but....
thinking of letting it go...
and fund for some other parts for my PC.... or... maybe selling my PC parts next year to fund for a new setup ><
