Question:

Car is insured at 50k. Insurance said if total cost of repair exceeds 65% (32k), it will declare total loss.

Workshop tries to repair car. After 2 months, they have claimed 20k. I use the car 2 days, rosak again at different parts.

Workshop repair again. Cost another 10k. I use the car 2 days, rosak lagi, another parts rosak.

At this point, if the workshop repair.... it'll exceed 32k ady.

So will insurance give me my 50k (total sum insured), or will they deduct from whatever they have used to try to repair the car (-30k)?

On a sidenote..... why the panel workshop die2 dont want declare total loss?

Do I still need to buy road tax/insurance?

Car kena flood. Workshop said at least 6 months, that's best case scenario. And it's only been a month.

Road tax/insurance expiring next month. Do I need to renew it, knowing the car cannot be used for loooooooonnnng time?

Anybody experienced something similar?

Nego/haggling when buying used car

Looking at this certain model. New one - RM130k

2-3 years old model is at RM105-115k now.

Considering that it's almost the year end now... if I approach the seller in December:
1. Agak2 how much they selling then?
2. How low can I nego down the price from their asking price? 5% lower? 10%? Sorry I never bought used, my first car was new.

How to check for flood/accident car?

I saw them selling GPU really cheap in Shopee, to the point that I was thinking it was close to the "too good to be true" area.

But quick google showed that they are selling older gen GPU cheap globally, they are legit. I don't mind paying lower $$$ for previous gen GPU, I don't need the new features that much.

Now, have anybody bought any GPU from them before? Do they last? Most importantly, will they fry my other component?

FWIW, I'm not gonna play latest AAA-game at ultra setting. My intention is to play games that are from 2-3 years ago at single monitor 1080p high/ultra settings, I do have dual monitors 1080p setup (the other monitor is just idle when I'm playing game).

Advice on changing car tyre size

I'm driving Mazda2, tyre size is 185/60 R16. Thinking of changing it coz I think I can get better value for money with other tyres, and also because Dunlop Enasave isn't available in every tyre shops, it's not very common.

I'm looking at here: https://tiresize.com/tyre-size-calculator/ , so I can see the differences. But I'm not sure the meaning behind all these numbers?

Currently looking at 185/55 and 195/55.

1. What's the acceptable range for diameter? Width?
2. How would different tyre sizes impact all the surrounding parts - bushes, etc?

I got a job offer from oversea, now in negotiation about the whole relocation package. Anyway, before I even accept the offer I need to know I got everything in order...

1. I would like to continue paying for the car. How do I renew the road tax while being oversea? I always do it online now, and the MyEG runner will deliver it to my home, and he needs my MyKad (this is the problem, since I cant leave my IC here). How do I renew road tax from oversea without leaving my IC?

2. Does anybody know a good mover that can move stuffs out from MY and rough cost estimation? I'm moving from MY to Netherlands. I'm thinking to bring bunch of kid books, bunch of kid's Legos, bunch of Tupperwares lol, my disassembled PC, 2 24" monitors, some clothings.

Hello guys,

I'm a total noob here no experience in all this things.. Hope you guys can teach me.

Okay, I'm interested in buying a subsale properties, from the advertisement it is advertised as RM220k. How much cash do I need to pay for the downpayment?

Also, what's the procedure? About the legal stuff, getting loan from bank, etc etc. Really empty knowledge here. Would appreciate if someone would show step by step tutorial on buying subsale properties...
