PC + ADSL Modem and Internet connection problem

When internet line broken and after back to normal, my pc can detect the modem but can't reconnect to the internet.
I reboot the ADSL modem manually to let my pc connect back to the internet.

Home PC
Window 7
D-link 2640B (free from streamyx)

Most of the time I'm not at home and need pc on and internet for 24hrs.
Is there other solution to let my pc auto reconnect back to the internet after the line is broken?

Can anyone help here.... My pc running windows 7 keep restarting by itself.
Everything is new except monitor.
