K-world M210 network problem

I bought this network media player barely 4 months ago mainly for streaming videos from NAS. Initially, everything works smoothly including streaming HD 720 or 1080p movies from my network.

Recently, it started randomly stuck and stopping during playback over the same setup. Sometimes it gives me the message "Media storage removed, stop playback, confirm" while everything was connected and my NAS was working fine when I stream it to my laptop. I'm streaming via direct LAN connection, not wifi.

The player works fine playing from it's local USB connection.

Anyone had similar issues with the network playback?

BenQ GL2055 backlight bleeding?

Hello guys, please help me out here..

I bought this monitor 4 days ago. This is my first LED monitor; I had a viewsonic Lcd before this one. The first difference I noticed between Lcd and my new LED is the brightness. LED brightness is almost blinding. My eyes were aching and tearing when I look at it for more than 5 minutes. So I tried adjust the brightness/ contrast/ gamma all the way to the minimum.

Top half became darker but the lower half remains very bright. I also noticed this 'anomaly' during darker background movies or dark scenes in FPS games. I tried to change the angle of the monitor/ the viewing angle; but still the lower half of the monitor remains very bright.

I used both the monitor and the nvidia control panel to adjust the brightness/ contrast/ gamma but result still the same.

I did some googling and came up with the term "backlight bleeding". Below are some photos attached; these pictures were taken in total darkness, no flash.

Are these backlight bleeding/ leaking?

Four weeks after Bolton's Fabrice Muamba improbably survived a cardiac arrest on the pitch during an FA Cup match, a similar scenario has played out in Italy -- but this time without the happy ending. Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini collapsed on the pitch after suffering a cardiac arrest in the 31st minute of a Serie B match against Pescara

Medical workers attempted to resuscitate the 25-year-old on the pitch, but according to the AP, a cardiologist at the hospital to which Morosini was taken reported that he was dead upon arrival and never regained consciousness. The match was abandoned as players left the pitch in tears.

''He looked at me in the eyes when he was taken into the ambulance,'' Pescara's general manager, Danilo Iannascoli, told Sky Italia. ''We are living through a drama.''
Italian media reports said a car belonging to traffic police blocked the ambulance's way into the stadium and a window had to be broken so the car could be moved.
''I don't know if the ambulance was late, but I know that the entrance onto the pitch was blocked by a vehicle,'' Iannascoli said. ''Morosini collapsed, he tried to get back up but then collapsed again.''

My thoughts and prayers to his family. He died doing what he loves.

Telephone wiring question

When both my telephone line(no tone at all) and streamyx wasn't working, the Telekom tech stuff told me it's my condo telephone line problem. So I ask my building contractor to replace the telephone wire with a new one. After the replacement, my phone works fine but I can't access the Internet at all. The Innacomm w3100 showed all the led lights were on except the data/Internet light.

When the contractor was fixing the telephone line, I notices he only connect the one red to the green receptor and the one white to the red receptor on the telephone plug. The other 2 was gray and blue which was left alone. I assume this is RJ11 standards.

Is he missing anything here? Did he forget to attach the other 2 colors?
Please help..

Playstation Network Hacked?

Iphone 4 Clock 1 hour delay

I set my alarm to wake me up at 5.30am this morning. But the iphone clock suddenly became 1 hour late, the alarm went off at 5.30am on my iphone but my wrist watch showed its already 6.30am. After I off the alarm, the clock readjusted itself to the actual time which is 6.30am. Anybody having this same problem today? Almost cost me to miss a flight..

Insurance Claim

My car skidded 6 weeks ago and ramped into a divider. The front and the back was totally damaged. Car sent to workshop under insurance claim. The mechanic said he will claim and fix everything for me but I have to pay extra if I want to paint the whole car.

My question is; do we have the right to see what the mechanic has claim from the insurance company? How much money was claimed? What item was covered?

Anyone here with similar experience?

Can't connect to RS network

I'm a Celcom 3G and a RS premium account user. For the past 1 week, I was not able to connect to anything with "rapidshare.com" from my current location in Johor. I was able to connect to every other website at normal speed. Whenever I tried to connect to any "rapidshare.com", it gives me the following error:

"Network Timeout

The server at rapidshare.com is taking too long to respond.

The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.

* Could the server be experiencing high demand or a temporary outage? Try again later.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

I tried to restart my computer repeatedly hoping to get another IP but Celcom still stick with the same IP.
Is Celcom blocking RS now? Does this mean I have to waste the remaining of my 2 months subscription with RS?
Any other Celcom having the same problem?

So i keep on restarting my modem (disconnect/reconnect) until i got the ip of peneinsular Malaysia, once i got it, the speed return to the advertise 384kbps:

Problem description: When I connect to Celcom 3G using Sierra Aircard 875U, my internet speed sux real bad (look at my signature). The speedtest showed my ip as if i'm running the test from Sarawak even though i'm in Johor.
But when I put the 3G sim card into my Nokia N91, the speedtest showed my exact loaction (Muar, Johor) and I got 360kbps. Is there something wrong with my modem. I've only use for less than 1 year. Please help.
