Just would like to know the apps that you guys use in tracking stolen apple product and how to deal with it. Some said that find my iphone or find my mac are not so efficient in dealing with stolen product.is it true? Below is the link that discussed on the security tips.

After getting Part 2 (BArch) in architecture, i did practice for a few months.
Actually i just experimenting whether i like practicing or teaching.after teaching for almost 4 years i realize that i enjoy it very much.
right know i'm looking forward to further my study in master's degree.

Somehow i can't decide which courses should i choose. I did some research and found out master's degree are divided into MA (master of art), Msc(master of science), MArch (master of arch) & MPhil (research).
Am i right? i'm really confused with the terms.
I guess i should omit MArch from my list since It is equivalent to Part 2,right?

I'm interested in research mode specialize in sustainable architecture.then, should i choose MPhil?somehow, people said that MPhil is awarded to those who fail in PHd? Is it right? Please shed some lights on the differences between MA,MSc,MArch & MPhil .tq

Reinstall application everytime turn on my mbp

I already installed a few apps like transmission & opera.the problem is, I have to reinstall the .dmg file every time i turn on my mbp. There apps were missing both from dock or applications folder.

Another problem is,i just install new wallpaper.however sometimes the new one is replaced by the old wallpaper.so,i have to reset to get back the new wallpaper. Need some advice here.tq

hi,
noob here looking for advice/ recommendation on the use of software for 3d and graphic works by designer or architect or photographer who use Mac.
i just installed parallel desktop and eager to explore more on mac or windows (on mac). somehow after that i don't know what are the recommended soft wares that worth of buying MBP

example
windows (words,powerpoint,excel)
mac (keynote,pages,etc)

windows (photoshop)
mac (aperture)

and 1 more thing,do you guys thinks is it worth buying apple magic mouse when use autocad?

care to share?

MBP 13"2.8 ghz or MBP 15" 2.2ghz?

hi,
i'm going to buy my first MBP.
somehow i can't decide yet which 1 should i buy,high end 13'(2.8ghz) or lower end 15'(2.2ghz).

FYI,i'm a freelancer (was an architect and now teaching architecture),doing part time job like 3d(cad,revit,sketch up,lumion) & part time photographer & videographer.

i will use the laptop for the basic stuff if i don't get any graphic job(maybe just 2 or 3 jobs in a month).
in your opinion, is it 13' 2.8ghz will be just fine for my part time works or should i buy 15-inch: 2.2 GHz? the main difference between 2 is graphic card,right?

besides,i'm using 15' laptop right now and find it quite heavy

i'm not a pro in 3d works and just a freelancer. some of my friends said that the lowest spec of MBP is actually quite ok for graphic works,that's why i need some advices in choosing which MBP is suitable for me.
