Pokemon Emerald - Legendary in Battle Tower

I know it is kinda late but anyone interested in trying out their legendary pokemon in the battle tower? It is prohibited by default but even those can still lose if the rival decide to one hit ko + quick claw on you in a row. I have tried it and I see not much edge against the opponent even though having higher stats. Just would like to share my finding. Anyone interested?

P/S: I don't see any unfair there since it's not human pitting against human.

High 12V Rail

Recently, I discovered the 12v3 has sent out tremendous voltage. According to what I found on the net: "These rails distribute power as follows: 12V1 to CPU1, 12V2 to CPU2 and the red modular PCI-E cable, 12V3 to the motherboard and two hardwired PCI-E cables, while 12V4 powers the drives and blue modular PCI-E cable."

So obviously the mobo and gc is being sent extra voltage, which is not good. It doesnt happpen before, could it be that the psu has gone faulty? It is a gigabyte odin gt 800w psu btw. Other spec as follow:

proc: intel e8400 3ghz
ram: kingston hyper x 4gb(2gbx2)
mobo: ep45-ud3p
hdd: wd 320gb and 80gb
om: pioneer dvd-rw
gc: ati 4870

[attachmentid=1507678]

The pc is a year old. Any idea?

To gameboy micro owners out there...

Just got myself a gameboy micro. Before I plug in the adapter I inspect it and to my surprise, it only accepts 100V, not 240V. For those of u who own a micro, whats your adapter voltage rating?

Go the portable way for retro gamers!

Pocket Retro

Looks interesting to me as you can save your psp for the psp games and gamed on this 320x240 handheld without black border or stretch. Many retro games are supported too! I wonder any of u guys have this thing or not? Opinion?

Sony PSP2 arriving in 2010

http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2009/...3-graphics.aspx

I wonder how credible the source is but based on its description, sony might choose the powervr graphic which will run with a multicore architecture. If this is true then backward compatibility might be scrapped, which means no psp game on psp 2 since psp use mips based processor and the upcoming one will be based on arm processor! Graphic wise it might rival the next nds 2 since the ds 2 might also improve its graphical capability tremendously by integrating the next system with a nvidia tegra. I have no idea how the tegra perform but it's being used in the zune hd, which is capable of hd movie playback. If I aint remember it wrongly sega dreamcast also use powervr, in which I think is good since most games seems like a smooth 60 fps with "crisp" graphic to me. What say u?

Possible contract for the upcoming NDS 2

http://kotaku.com/5381257/nvidia-chip-to-p...new-nintendo-ds

http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/14/rumor-nv...-generation-ds/

It seems nvidia might win the ninty contract if their tegra chip is reasonably priced. The tegra chip is based on geforce 9 series and if it is at the level of geforce 9800gt, then we might see a better graphic then ps3 since the ps3 rsx is based on geforce 7 series! If its performance is closer to 9300m then I'll say just forget about it. But I think most likely the graphic wouldnt be that jaw dropping since they have to take into consideration of battery life as well, in which is a major hold back for handheld devices since better graphic means more power drained.

By the spec, it seems much more powerful than current ds with 600mhz arm compared to the current ds arm proc 66mhz! What do u guys think about the upcoming ds 2?

For those of u who owned PSP n NDS

For those of u who owned both PSP slim and NDS lite I have a question. I notice the DS lite screen is a bit blur while PSP has a much sharper screen. Is it normal that the picture displayed on the ds lite blur compared to PSP? Cut the crap about 3d graphics or the likes since I know PSP has better graphic! What I mean is for example, both handheld play a 2D game and the displayed picture is much sharper and more crisp on PSP while on ds lite is a bit blur.
