Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2012 Radio

Hello everyone!

The car radio of my 2012 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport died. It still gets some power but there's no Audio nor any Video.

I'm looking to buy a new one (with Android Auto at least) but the dimensions seem very strange. It's 194mm by 95mm, giving it a 7.7" diagonal. I can't find those dimensions on Shopee ... My type is as per the attached picture ...

Does anyone know which type I should buy?

Time Fibre with Google Wifi

Hello all,

I recently moved from Unifi 100 MBps to Time Fibre 500 MBps.

I was using my Google Wifi network (1 router + 2 pods) on Unifi using the setup from below link I once picked up from this forum (www.blacktubi.com/guide/make-any-router-work-on-unifi/) and that worked excellent. I only used the Unifi modem and ditched the router. The 3 Google Wifi points was just enough for the house but actually I needed 1 or 2 more.

Now however, I am getting two Mesh Routers from Time Fibre (Huawei OptiXstar HG8145X6-10). The two is not enough for my house and I would like to extend using my Google Wifi Points. The Time technician said it was possible, I just had to plug it in.

I have done a hard reset on the Google Wifi Points and plugged 1 Google Wifi Point directly into the LAN1 of the Time Router. I am still getting the blue slow pulsing light though.

Does anyone know if and how this can work together? Any step-by-step guide or video tutorial?

EDIT: Update - I've factory reset my network in the Google Home app. I had already factory reset the pod itself. Now I've added the WiFi network in the Google Home app using hte same SSID and the same password. Not sure if that's correct but we'll see how it goes ...

PS4 no video all of a sudden?

Hi all,

Short story: All of a sudden I cannot get video & audio from my PS4! The light on the PS4 is white (not blinking) and I also cannot enter the Safe Boot menu (since I have no video I guess).

Long story: Two years ago I purchased a PS4 from the USA. I got one defected with Blue Light of Death. I had to send it all the way back ($$ shipping!) and got it replaced. Couldn't be done in Malaysia for some reason. Replacement took ages but I got a new one (US Version though). Now I have been playing for more than a year (GTA IV, FarCry 4 100% and now recently started on Metal Gear Solid V). Yesterday night I tried to play some but I couldn't get video from my PS4 to my TV. I turn on the PS4, the light goes blue, blinks a bit, then turns white and it has always worked but not anymore,

What I've tried:
Different HDMI port on the TV
Different HDMI cable between PS4 and TV (all HDMI cables confirmed to be working with my ASTRO set top box)
Unplugged all cables (including power) and left for 6 hours
Checked if I had the latest firmware for my TV (I do, Panasonic Viera TH-L42E3K)
Checked HDMI port on the PS4 visually (nothing wrong)
Usually my PS4 is connected through an HDMI switch but I've connected everything directly to be sure
I've also connected my PS4 to my soundbar with HDMI and then my soundbar to my PC through the ARC HDMI but no audio & Video
I've connected my PS4 Optical sound out to my soundbar but no audio

Does anyone else have any suggestions???

EDIT: I see a 3.00 PS4 System Software has been released on 30th of September. I played 29th of September for the last time. Could it be that? But how can I downgrade if I cannot enter the safe menu ....

Problem description:

Ok. So I have a Foscam FI9826W IP Camera. I managed to set it up, including port forwarding at my old address where I had Unifi. I have since moved and I cannot manage to repeat it in the Maxis Router. I have followed all the manuals but it doesn't work for me. What I do:

- I connect the camera to the router.
- I hard reset the camera
- I input the correct Gateway using the IP Camera Tool (see "IP Camera Tool" attachment and "IP Camera Status")

- I go to 192.168.1.254 and go to Toolbox > Port Forwarding & DMZ > Port Forwarding > Create a New Game or Application
- Name is "Camera" and I select "Manual Entry of Port Maps"
- I add ports 88 and 443 TCP/UDP (see "Camera Port Forward" attachment). Triggers are kept empty.

- I click on "Port Forwarding" and select "Camera" from the "Game or Application" and select my camera device from the "Device" list.
- I click on Apply (UPnP and Extended Security are both checked but I've tried all possible check/uncheck combinations).
- I check if the port is open on http://www.canyouseeme.org/ but alas ....

The camera is accessible through the local network all this time. It's not accessible outside though and not through the DDNS either ...

I have read that I should try to switch off the firewall of the router to check if that is the problem but I cannot find where to do that.

I see the line-up for 2013 Urbanscapes and it looks really cool! Unforunately, I can't make it on the Saturday so I'm looking for Sunday-only tickets. Organisation however informed that they only sell whole-weekend tickets. A bit strange as festivals I have visited before (Europe) sell also day-passes. Anyway, are there people who have tickets and can only make it Saturday? Then we can switch and split costs? I have a big group of friends who all would love to go to Franz Ferdinand!

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini LTE

Hi,

I've just been to the Samsung store in Suria and they were selling the S4 mini for RM1499. Unfortunately, it was only 3G! I'm looking for the 4G version but the sales persons didn't know if that type was available in Malaysia (couldn't answer any question - not very helpful).

I've searched on lelong and such and there I see RM1449 for S4 Mini LTE but those are AP and not SME.

Anyone here who knows IF and WHEN the LTE comes to Malaysia?

HU for Toyota Rush 2012

Hi everyone,

I've bought a new HU for my Toyota Rush, it also comes with a reverse camera. Now I need to install it though and I can't find any information anywhere on the web on how to remove the cover for the radio!!

Does anyone have information on this? I cannot find it anywhere on any forum or youtube. I have also looked for screws in my car but no luck ...

Any help (or installers in the Curve / Kepong region) would be greatly appreciated.

Good ISP for international use

Hi guys,

I have Unifi VIP10 package at the moment. Internet is fine (although I find it pretty expensive - don't use TV and don't use the telephone) if I do the speedtest (get 10Mbps UL and DL). However, if I choose a different server, for example Amsterdam I usually get timed out, or get pings > 500 ms and UL/DL < 1 Mbps. I watch a lot of Dutch programs over the internet but it's so terribly slow it's buffering all the time. I am really annoyed and want to switch. Is there any ISP that delivers proper international speeds? Doesn't have to be 10 Mbps, 5 would also be ok I guess ...
