mesh wifi with Umobile 5G modem/router

Anyone has experience setting up mesh wifi involving umobile 5G modem/router ?

Because I intent to put the umobile 5G modem/router at the location with best signal, then I need to consider extend the wifi coverage to the other places in the house further away from the 5G modem/router. So I need to set up a mesh network.

Or there is a bundle where the a mesh router is bundled with the umobile package ?

Anyone has experience of using 5g for home internet and want to share ?

I use and handphone to test my 5g connection, I get around 300-600 Mbps speed in the morning. This is tested in the house where the unifi modem/router is located.

In term of cost 300mbps unifi is around rm150 after tax, and I supposed 5g will be around rm50 only after tax.

I get saving of rm100 per month, after a few months, it is sufficient to payback the 5g modem/router.

Is the calculation correct?

Postpaid Port out last bill issue

I recently port out from one service provider to another. After successful port out for a month or two, I got call from previous service provider telling me I have an outstanding bill.

The date when I ported out was just a few days after the billing cycle, but the provider people told me, they don't do prorated calculation, I have to pay the full month bill. According to them, it is mentioned in their terms and conditions when I signed up.

Anyone has similar experience in this and what is your mileage ?

Unifi Mesh router set up - LAN address

My house is setup with a pair of mesh routers set up by TM.

But I am still pretty confused about the set up.

Basically the router A which is connected to the fibre modem, is having LAN IP 192.168.0.1 and serving dhcp address /24 mask.

Router B at down stairs is set up using WPS and found to have address 192.168.27.1 and serving dhcp address /24.

Most of the time the LAN devices get DHCP address of 192.168.0.x and default router 192.168.0.1. Things seem to be Okay.

But sometimes some devices get into the 192 168.27.x network and start having difficulty in communicating with other devices in the 192.168.0.x network.

Can both mesh routers be configured to serve the same 192.168.0.x network?

I need to use the external monitor instead of the notebook screen. So I need to attach a hd quality webcam on to the external monitor.

The online sales on the online sites are in very confusing states. Many of those budget ones below rm100 have got mixed feedback. The same seller could get both good and bad feedback. The feedbacks are hard to believe and reconcile.

Here I am asking for a real user experience. Anyone managed to get true full hd quality from a below rm100 budget webcam ? Maybe cite the exactly link of the sellers if that is the one you bought it from. TQ.

SUNGAI PETANI: A doctor at a hospital, here, sustained injuries after he was beaten up by a group of men, believed to be over a woman.

It is learned that the main suspect acted as such out of jealousy after claiming that the doctor was seeing his ex wife.

Grab from puchong to KLIA2 is costing me a bomb. About RM80. What's cheaper and not too many confusing stops ?

Bus fair from KLIA2 to KL Sentral only about RM11 (?) But after than to take LRT is too confusing because of various transits. LRT from KLSentral-> Masjid Jamek-> Ampang Line/Putra Height/Putraline too confusing.

Looks like impossible from the quickset screen. Or it is possible to skip the quickset screen ? Or load a different firmware ? Damn it got stuck thinking it can also work as a WiFi repeater !!!!

Terawan also specifically brought up Kerok, coin and ointment treatment, as a worthy attraction for medical tourism.

Known its varied benefits among the locals, Kerok is a method of treating a variety of ailments by rubbing a coin against the skin of the back with menthol ointment, which is believed to increase blood and oxygen circulation.

“Don’t underestimate kerok. If we had 100 rooms and it takes 20 minutes per person, imagine how much revenue that would generate.

“There are many other cultural gems that we have not exploited because we take them for granted, but to foreigners, it’s something intriguing,” he added.

I got bad experience buying lousy and fake battery online. Failed within one month, pregnant but lucky did not explode. And warranty is supposed to be 3 months. Claiming warranty also not interested anymore because if send new ones also will fail again, risk of explosion is very high.

MOT calculation for title transfer

I am in the midst to doing a strata title transfer. My property happened to be purchase with 2 separate agreements, one for the unit proper, one for the car park.

My question is: does calculation of MOT payable charge to government must include or exclude the car park charge ?

Furnishing and rental

I am caught in a bit of dilemma whether to provide full furnishing and rent my condo unit at higher rental, or just stay with partially furnished.

It's a unit about 8xx sf, 2 rooms, 2 bath. Already have 3 aircond, kitchen cab, grille. I think it can fetch RM1500 per month rental. Have to minus about RM300 from the rental for maintenance.

To bring it to fully furnish here is my calculation as like this :-

Sofa bed: Rm400
TV rack: Rm200
Washing machine: RM600
Fridge: RM750
Divan Bed with mattress (masterbed room) : RM400
Wardrobe: Rm300
Single Bed with mattress: RM350

Total: RM3000++

Are the calculation reasonable ?

After adding RM3000++ into it, how much additional rental should I charge ?

Who responsible for owners strata title

Bought a property which the developer because unable to pay the debtors, decided to declare bankrupt. Now there is a lawyer coming by to work on the strata title for the owners, for a fees collected upfront, but unable to specifically say when the strata title can be obtained.

Made to understand that there is significant amount money to be paid to some entities before the strata title can be obtained. And thus the lawyers idea is pool this money together from the owners. Is this correct ?

Who exactly will be responsible for seeing through the process of getting strata titles for the owners ? The liquidator might be most unwilling to sign off whatever documents to allow the strata title process to go smoothly to completion, until they collected whatever money they took out earlier.

The owners themselves would naturally have vested interest in this but individually, they would do nothing. I would imagine that condo management might also be having vested interest in seeing through this as well ?

Want to know the process. Could someone familiar with this enlighten me ?
