Dell Studio 1558 i7 Problem

Hello guys

I would like to know if there is anybody here is using Dell Studio 1558 (with i7 processor)? Would like to survey how many of the laptop users experience any problem?

I would like to purchase the laptop but kind of change my mind when I see lots of people complaining about the laptop problem. Some say the laptop cannot sustain the i7 processor.

Hello expert.

Would like to ask for opinions...If your colleagues at office want to sell laptops to you, which one do you prefer among these three:

First:
Price: RM1950
i5, Dell Inspiron, 2.4GHz, 500gb, window 7 (ori),
Pro: Screen 15", 4GB, 500GB
Con: warranty tinggal 5months (but hilang resit and warrnty card)

Second:
Price: RM1900
i5, Acer Aspire 4741G, 2.4GHz, 500gb, window 7 (ori), kaspersky antivirus 1year
Pro: 2years 10months warranty, 500GB
Con: 14", 2GB\

Third:
Price: RM2050 (dia beli 4months ago rm3200 katanya)
i5, Acer Aspire 5740G-6395 , 2.4GHz, 320gb, window 7 (ori),
Pro: 15", 4GB RAM,
Con: 8mnths wrrnty left, 320GB hdd

What will determine the laptop price? Processor, hardisk, RAM, screen size, warranty?

If the owner of Dell laptop lost all the receipts and warranty card, is there anyway we can change the owner name by just calling the Dell customer service? What is the procedure?

How much is normally the price to extend warranty from 1 year to 3 years?

Lastime I visit this forum, I found an interesting thread opened by one of the forumers here, discussing
about the step by step instruction on how can we speed up our pc to the optimum.

I have saved to favourite, but unluckily when my hardisk crashed, I couldn't find it anymore. When
try to search the thread here, I cannot find it anymore.

Any idea where is the thread moved? Or has it been deleted?

Hardisk fell,cant be detected at any PC.

Hello lowyat forumers.

I know people here are experts. Would like to have some views from experts here.

My hardisk fell down, and it cannot be detected at any PC's. Have tried at several computers. Have used several software but still cannot be detected. Also have used freezer technique, still failed. Went to MDR Recovery Sdn Bhd also they cannot recover. The staff said, the disc won't initiliaze.

Is there any other chance to recover the data? I have some important data need to be recovered. I haven't tried SCS-Myung and ADRC. Anyone ever tried any of both companies? How is the charge?

What is the fastest car on earth?Bugatti,Mclaren?

Just want to discuss with lowyet forumers.

What is the fastest car on earth up to date? What is the highest speed it can go? How long does it take to go from 0 to 100m?

Previously, it used to be Bugatti Veyron. It can go up to 253.4mph (405km/h) but it is unofficial record. This beat the record Mclaren F1 which can only go up to 240.1 mph (384km/h).

But recently, I read somewhere, the new fastest car is SSC Ultimate Aero. It can go up to 256.19mph (410km/h). It needs only 2.78s to go from 0 to 100m.

Any comment?

Nokia E90: Is it reliable?

Would like to ask for opinions. Nokia E90 looks cool with all the features, specifications, etc. But the price is around RM4k for brand new, original warranty.

Anybody has ever bought this mobile phone? Is it that reliable? How about the battery consumption?
