Saya ingin membuat komplen terhadap kecuaian keselamatan di kawasan permainan kanak-kanak yang dipanggil Molly Fantasy Wonders Park di dalam JUSCO Bukit Tinggi.
Pada kira-kira 8:00 petang pada 25 Jan 2012, anak saya Adrianna Wong tercedera oleh objek tajam semasa bermain di dalam kawasan permainan tersebut. Semasa dia mengelongsor ke bawah Slide, dia dicederakan oleh skru yang tajam yang menuju keluar daripada permukaan Slide. Skru tajam itu tercucuk ke dalam kaki kirinya menyebabkan luka yang mendalam.

Kesakitan mengejut dan pengalaman ngeri ini menyebabkan satu trauma kepada anak saya sehingga hidungnya berdarah sambil menggigil.

Salah satu penyelia JUSCO dipanggil untuk menghadapi insiden ini, dan dia secara sukarela telah menyerahkan nama dan nombor telefon bimbit kepada saya dalam hal aduan rasmi.

Dalam kehairanan saya, pengurusan JUSCO sudah mengetahui hal skru tajam ini sebelum insiden kecederaan tersebut berlaku, tetapi masih tidak mengambil apa-apa tindakan!!! Seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam gambar yang pertama, mereka tidak benteng kawasan slaid, mereka tidak mengeluarkan skru tajam tersebut, mereka masih membenarkan kanak-kanak untuk bermain di dalamnya dan walaupun selepas anak perempuan saya cedera, mereka masih membiarkan pelanggan baru masuk!!!

Saya membawa anak perempuan saya untuk berjumpa doktor pada 9:00 pm di poliklinik Kumpulan City. Doktor memberikan anak perempuan saya suntikan anti-tetanus, anti-biotics, parasetamol dan juga meletakkan ubat pada kawasan luka.

Kecuaian tersebut telah menyebabkan bukan sahaja kecederaan fizikal kepada anak saya, tetapi juga trauma psikologi. Sebagai seorang bapa kepada anak saya yang terluka, saya sangat kecewa dengan kecuaian keselamatan JUSCO.

Saya berharap pihak Tuan dapat menyampaikan hal ini supaya pihak JUSCO akan lebih serius dalam isu keselamatan kanak-kanak dan supaya kanak-kanak lain tidak akan mengalami kecederaan semacam itu lagi.

zakat money used to buy hotel

Jan 26: Still reeling from several cases of mismanagement and abuse of zakat funds, another instance of zakat abuse threatens to erupt into the open following a revelation of a plan to use zakat money to purchase a landmark hotel in Kuantan, Pahang.

PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi said he had received tip-off from sources close to the Pahang Islamic Affairs Council (MAIP) alleging a plan to spend RM50 million from zakat funds to purchase the MS Garden Hotel at the heart of the town.

“I hope the authority will investigate this matter, and ensure that it will not happen as many in Pahang deserve zakat,” he wrote on his Facebook page yesterday, calling for stern action against those involved.

According to Zakat laws in Islam, the eight categories deserving help from the fund, or asnaf, are (1) destitutes, (2) those in poverty, (3) those tasked with zakat collection, (4) those who embraced Islam and needing help, (5) bonded slaves, (6) those who borrowed for basic needs and unable to pay such debts, (7) those who fight in jihad in the way of God, and (8) those who are stranded during a journey.

As such, Nasrudin, who is also Pahang PAS deputy chief, said the zakat fund should not be used to purchase the hotel even for investment purposes.

“Even in the name of developing Muslim economy, one cannot use zakat when the government has other sources of income because the fund must be channelled directly to the asnaf.

"In Pahang, there are still many Muslims under the hardcore poor category as well as those needing financial help to further their studies," said Nasrudin.

He warned that investing using zakat money was not allowed as there was an element of risk in any investment.

"In fact zakat fund must reach the asnaf.

"Islamic scholars agree that zakat fund cannot be used even to build mosques because it is not one of the asnaf unless the government has no other income to build a prayer place for Muslims,” stressed Nasrudin.

Task force formed

Nasrudin also announced the formation of a task force by his wing to monitor misappropriation of zakat money.

The Anti Misappropriation of Zakat Fund taskforce will be headed by Federal Territory PAS Youth chief Kamaruzaman Mohamad (right) to monitor and investigate alleged abuses of zakat "so that the zakat fund can be saved from greedy authorities", said Nasrudin.

He added that the task force was mooted by his informants who alerted him about the hotel purchase plan.

Nasrudin also appealed to the public to contact him immediately to help the task force detect zakat abuse, as well as provide concrete evidences.

"We don’t want people to call this a slander,” he said.

Paleontologists have discovered the oldest dinosaur nursery on Earth

What's better the only thing better than dinosaurs? That would be baby dinosaurs. Paleontologists working in South Africa have made an incredible discovery in the region's Golden Gate Highlands National Park: 10 nests thought to belong to the herbivorous dinosaur Massospondylus, a forbear of massive sauropods like Brachiosaurus.

Many of the nests contain eggs. Others are spotted with tiny footprints. But the most incredible thing about this find is how old the nesting site is — at 190 million years old, this nursery predates all previously known nesting sites by 100 million years.
In an article published in today's issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, paleontologist Robert Reisz and his colleagues conclude that their findings provide the oldest known evidence that newborn dinosaurs hung around their nesting sites long enough after hatching to at least double in size.

Why is that important? For one thing, it speaks volumes about the nesting behavior of baby Massospondylids, not to mention the broader social nature of the entire species. LiveScience's Charles Choi expands on this idea :

...The site seemed to be a popular one for dino day care, as the nests were found in at least three distinct layers of rock within the excavation, each indicating a different point in time. In fact, the researchers suggest the dinosaur moms likely returned repeatedly to the site. Also, the fact that multiple nests were found within the same layers - and thus were laid at about the same time - reveals the dinosaurs likely gathered in groups to lay their eggs, the oldest evidence of such behavior in the fossil record.

According to David Evans, curator of vertebrate paleontology at the Royal Ontario Museum in Canada, the discovery sheds some much-needed light on the reproductive behavior of early dinosaurs.

"Even though the fossil record of dinosaurs is extensive, we actually have very little fossil information about their reproductive biology, particularly for early dinosaurs," explains Evans. He continues:

This amazing series of 190 million year old nests gives us the first detailed look at dinosaur reproduction early in their evolutionary history, and documents the antiquity of nesting strategies that are only known much later in the dinosaur record.

hi all, need help from sifus regarding my problem..

this is happening 2 years ago, but need help now as im deciding to repair it because since then im using my brothers laptop
now he needs it back, so i got no choice to look back at my old pc
the problem last time is one day, there is nothing on display but the pc still running
so i thought monitor problem, then i buy new monitor
brought it back but still nothing on display
send it back to the shop as i thought as i realise that monitor also got problem
the shop tested , and its working fine, they ask me to brought to them
when they check, they said its the video card problem
i dont have any graphic card installed at the time coz my motherboard has built in gpu
they told me that i have to installed new graphic card
as i was student that time, ptptn already habis
i decided to not do anything, i borrowed my brother laptop instead

now, he needs it back, and i need 2 have a computer 2 do my work
i decided 2 just repair my old one

so sifus, what should i do, change mobo or just put gpu?

Titan May Support Earth-Like World

A group of researchers has discovered through their latest study, how the atmosphere of the Saturn's largest moon, Titan is structured. Titan, which is the only moon of the Saturn that has a dense atmosphere, is believed to have an Earth-like world, according to the latest report.

Scientists studied the atmosphere of Titan and said that it might support a world that is very similar to the Earth, which possesses a layered atmosphere. They revealed that the lowest layer of any planet, which is also known as boundary layer, has huge impact on the surface with clouds and winds. Apart from it, it itself is affected by a planet or moon's surface.

The team told that Earth's boundary layer is controlled by solar heat that warms the planet's surface and is 500 meters and 3 kilometers in thickness. Whereas, boundary layer of the Titan may act differently as it is farther away from the Sun. It is thick and opaque, which is creating perplexity in the study.

Thus, to solve this mystery, a 3-D climate model has been developed by the team so as to know how the planet might respond to solar heat over time. This invention has revealed simulations like Titan’s lower atmosphere is probably divided into two parts and both differ from upper atmosphere’s temperature, said it.

Further analysis over the hazy and soupy atmosphere of the Titan could help in throwing light on the atmosphere of varied other similar planets that include alien planets and moons, said the scientists. "3-D models will be very useful in the future to explain the data we will get about the atmospheres of exoplanets", said Benjamin Charnay, a Planetary Scientist at France's National Center of Scientific Research.
