LG Monitor "Check Signal Cable"

Hi. I have a LG Flatron W2361V. I've just recently purchased a Nvidia graphic card so I wanted to use HDMI. But every time I connect the HDMI cable to the monitor it keeps showing "Check Signal Cable" with multi-colored dots jumping.

I have installed the graphic card and monitor drivers correctly and in Device Manager it shows that they exist.
When I plug my PC to my Sharp TV via HDMI, it works - which means the problem is with the monitor?
But the monitor works when I connect my internal graphic via VGA. It just won't work when the VGA cable is not connected.
I have tried almost everything on the internet. I am really lost

HELP PLEASE!!!
